Top Saint Louis University alumni playing currently pro basketball

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Billikens alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Dwayne Evans (6'7''-F-92, graduated '14, plays pro in Germany) led Ratiopharm Ulm to a 1-point victory over the closely-ranked s Oliver Baskets (15-13) 95-94 in the German BBL in Saturday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Evans recorded 21 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals in 38 minutes. Ratiopharm Ulm (15-12) is placed sixth in the BBL. It's Evans' first season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Evans averages 15.2ppg, 6.8rpg, 2.2apg and 1.3spg in 26 games he played so far.

   #2. Experienced Ian Vougioukas (7'0''-C-85, graduated '07, plays in Greece) led Panathinaikos to an easy victory against the closely-ranked AEK (17-7) crushing them 104-72 in a derby game in the Greek A1 last Wednesday. Vougioukas scored 12 points. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Panathinaikos Superfoods Athens (19-1) is placed first in the A1. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This season Vougioukas averages 5.3ppg, 2.1rpg and 1.2apg.

   #3. Adonys Henriquez (6'6''-G-94, graduated '18, currently in Argentina) led Regatas Corrientes to a victory over the 15th-ranked Bahia Basket (11-18) 74-56 in the Argentinian La Liga on Friday night. He was MVP of the game. Henriquez recorded 15 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in a mere 17 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. Regatas Corrientes (19-11) is placed second in the La Liga. It's Henriquez's first year with the team. Henriquez has relatively good stats this season 10.3ppg and 3.5rpg in 27 games. He is a naturalized Dominican.

   #4. Ash Yacoubou (6'4''-G-92, graduated '16, plays pro in Croatia) contributed to a KK Skrljevo's victory against the league outsider Bosco (2-19) 96-82 in the Croatian Premijer Liga in Sunday night's game. He scored 11 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. KK Skrljevo (9-12) is placed ninth in the Premijer Liga. Yacoubou's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. It's Yacoubou's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 11.7ppg and 4.4rpg.

   #5. Mike McCall (6'0''-PG-91, graduated '14, plays in United Kingdom) helped Manchester Giants win their game against the fifth-ranked London CR (14-12) 94-83 in the British BBL last Thursday. He scored 21 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and dished 8 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) in 40 minutes. Manchester Giants (13-17) is placed tenth in the BBL. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. It's McCall's first season with the team. McCall has very impressive stats this year 15.8ppg, 3.1rpg, 5.1apg and 1.1spg in 29 games.

   #6. Luis Santos (6'8''-F-94, graduated '18, currently in Argentina), who plays in the Argentinian La Liga could not help Olimpico de La Banda (13-16) in their last game on Thursday. Despite his good performance Olimpico de La Banda was defeated 76-71 on the road by the much higher-ranked Obras Basket (#4). Santos was the second best scorer with 14 points. He also added 4 rebounds and 2 blocks. This season Santos averages 5.3ppg and 3.0rpg.

   #7. Davell Roby (6'4''-G-96, graduated '18, plays pro in Czech Republic) was not able to help Brno in their game against USK Praha in the Czech Republic NBL, despite his very good performance in Sunday night's game. He was the second best scorer with 19 points. Roby also added 8 rebounds in 39 minutes. But his team lost 69-77. He has relatively good stats this year 11.9ppg, 4.8rpg, 2.9apg and 1.3spg in 37 games.

   #8. Brian Conklin (6'7''-F-89, graduated '12, plays in Puerto Rico) was the main contributor in an Indios de Mayaguez's surprising victory against the third-ranked Piratas 90-75 in the Puerto Rican BSN last Saturday. He was MVP of the game. Conklin recorded 15 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. It was his first game for Indios de Mayaguez this season.

   #9. Jordair Jett (6'1''-G-91, graduated '14, currently in New Zealand) was the major contributor in a Mike Pero Nelson Giants' victory against the seventh-ranked Mountain Airs 93-78 in the New Zealand NBL on Saturday night. Jett recorded 17 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists in 36 minutes. It was his first game for Mike Pero Nelson Giants this season.

   #10. Grandy Glaze (6'9''-F-92, played in 2011-15, plays pro in Australia) was not able to secure a victory for Eltham Wildcats in their game against Spectres in the Australian State League (second division). Despite his very good performance on Friday night Glaze was the second best scorer with 20 points. He also added 7 rebounds. This season Glaze has very high stats. He averages 18.5ppg, 6.5rpg and 3.0apg.
