Top University of Iowa alumni playing currently pro basketball

We bring you last week's top former Hawkeyes players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Devyn Marble (6'6''-SF-92, graduated '14, plays pro in Italy) led Dolomiti En. TR to a victory over the 14th-ranked Grissin Bon RE (7-19) 84-80 in the Italian Serie A on Sunday night. He was MVP of the game. Marble recorded 25 points in 28 minutes. Dolomiti Energia Trento (15-11) is placed sixth in the Serie A. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Marble's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 13.0ppg, 2.8rpg, 2.0apg and 1.2spg.

   #2. Aaron White (6'9''-PF-92, graduated '15, plays in Lithuania) contributed to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams Siauliai (6-24) crushing them 109-83 in the Lithuanian LKL in Sunday night's game. He recorded 10 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. B.C. Zalgiris Kaunas (26-3) is placed first in the LKL. It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. This year White averages 8.4ppg and 4.3rpg in 28 games he played so far.

   #3. Gabriel Olaseni (6'11''-C-91, graduated '15, currently in Germany), who plays in the German BBL could not help s.Oliver Wuerzburg (7-9) to beat ratiopharm Ulm (15-12). Olaseni recorded 9 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and made 2 blocks in 29 minutes. But s.Oliver Wuerzburg was edged 95-94 on the road by the lower-ranked ratiopharm Ulm (#6). This season Olaseni averages 9.7ppg, 5.6rpg and 1.6apg.

   #4. Melsahn Basabe (6'7''-PF-92, graduated '14, plays pro in Puerto Rico) contributed to a Brujos de Guayama's victory against the closely-ranked Piratas (10-6) 90-77 in the Puerto Rican BSN on Thursday night. He recorded 12 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Brujos de Guayama (10-6) is placed second in the BSN. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. This year Basabe averages 5.9ppg and 4.1rpg in 16 games. He is a naturalized Puerto Rican.

   #5. Anthony Clemmons (6'1''-G-94, graduated '16, plays in Kazakhstan) was not able to help Astana (14-9) in their game last Thursday. Despite his good performance Astana was badly defeated 91-72 in Moscow by the leading CSKA. Clemmons scored 10 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 6 assists in 28 minutes. There are only three games left until the end of the VTB United League Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Clemmons has relatively good stats this season 14.7ppg, 3.7rpg, 5.7apg and 1.7spg.

   #6. Dominique Uhl (6'9''-F-94, graduated '18, currently in Germany) was not able to secure a victory for Team Ehingen Urspring in their game against MLP Academics Heidelberg in the German ProA (second division). Uhl scored only 4 points. His team lost 79-90. This year Uhl averages 5.6ppg and 3.5rpg in 33 games.

   #7. Experienced Cyrus Tate (6'8''-F/C-85, graduated '09, plays pro in Germany) couldn't help PS Karlsruhe Lions in their game against Chemnitz in the German ProA (second division). Despite his good performance last Wednesday He scored 10 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 19 minutes. This season Tate averages 7.4ppg and 3.7rpg.
