Top Villanova University alumni playing currently pro basketball

Every week we bring you a list of the top former Wildcats players who continue their career in pro basketball.


   #1. Darrun Hilliard (6'6''-G-93, graduated '15, plays pro in Spain) was the major contributor in Baskonia's victory against one of league's weakest teams UCAM Murcia (7-19) 86-75 in the Spanish Liga Endesa in Sunday night's game. He scored 18 points (was perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line) in 23 minutes. Kirolbet Baskonia Vitoria (20-6) is placed third in the Liga Endesa. It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. It's Hilliard's first season with the team. Hilliard has relatively good stats this year 10.3ppg, 2.5rpg, 1.4apg and 1.1spg in 27 games he played so far.

   #2. Corey Fisher (6'1''-PG-88, graduated '11, plays in Spain) led BAXI Manresa to a victory against the tenth-ranked CB Canarias (13-13) 91-87 in the Spanish Liga Endesa last Sunday. Fisher scored 16 points, made 6 passes and 3 steals. BAXI Manresa (15-12) is placed sixth in the Liga Endesa. Fisher has relatively good stats this season 12.0ppg, 2.6rpg, 4.4apg and 1.5spg. He is a naturalized Georgian.

   #3. Reggie Redding (6'5''-F/G-88, graduated '10, currently in Turkey) contributed to an easy victory against the 12th-ranked Buyukcekmece (6-18) 105-86 in the Turkish BSL on Wednesday night. He had a double-double by scoring 11 points and making 10 passes. Redding also added and 3 steals in 24 minutes. Turk Telekom Ankara (14-10) is placed fifth in the BSL. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This year Redding averages 8.1ppg, 2.3rpg, 3.5apg and 1.2spg in 19 games.

   #4. Scottie Reynolds (6'1''-G-87, graduated '10, plays pro in Israel) could not help Hapoel Unet Holon in their last game on Wednesday. Despite Reynolds' good performance Hapoel Unet Holon was defeated 94-89 on the road by the leading Banco di Srd. He recorded 12 points and added 8 assists. This season Reynolds averages 6.2ppg, 2.0rpg, 4.2apg and 1.4spg.

   #5. Mikal Bridges (6'6''-G/F-96, graduated '18, plays in the NBA) was not able to help the Phoenix Suns (19-63) in their last game. Despite Bridges' very good performance the Phoenix Suns (19-63) were crushed 149-113 at home by the Houston Rockets. He was the second best scorer with 19 points. Bridges also added 6 rebounds in 42 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. The Regular Season already ended in the NBA. It's Bridges' first year with the team. Bridges has relatively good stats this season 8.4ppg, 3.3rpg, 2.1apg and 1.6spg in 81 games.

   #6. Ryan Arcidiacono (6'3''-G-94, graduated '16, currently in the NBA), who plays in the NBA was not able to secure a victory for the Chicago Bulls (22-60) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite his good performance the Chicago Bulls were badly defeated 125-109 in Philadelphia by the 76ers. Arcidiacono was the second best scorer with 14 points. He also added 6 rebounds and dished 6 assists. This season Arcidiacono averages 6.7ppg, 2.7rpg and 3.3apg. He is a naturalized Italian.

   #7. Jalen Brunson (6'3''-G-96, graduated '18, plays pro in the NBA) contributed to a 2-point Dallas Mavericks' victory against the Memphis Grizzlies 129-127 in the NBA in Sunday night's game. He had a double-double by scoring 12 points and making 10 passes in 24 minutes. Brunson has relatively good stats this year 9.3ppg, 2.3rpg and 3.2apg in 73 games.

   #8. Maalik Wayns (6'1''-PG-91, graduated '12, plays in France) couldn't help Levallois in their game against Le Portel in the French Jeep ELITE ProA. Despite his good performance on Friday night He scored 11 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. This season Wayns averages 6.2ppg, 2.2rpg and 2.0apg. He is a naturalized Belarusian.

   #9. Experienced Kyle Lowry (6'0''-PG-86, graduated '06, currently in the NBA) managed to help Toronto Raptors in a victory against the Miami Heat 117-109 in the NBA on Sunday night. He recorded 5 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals in 42 minutes. Lowry has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 14.0ppg, 4.8rpg, 8.7apg and 1.4spg in 66 games.

   #10. James Bell (6'6''-SF-92, graduated '14, plays pro in Montenegro) couldn't help Buducnost in their game against Crvena Zvezda in the ABA League. Despite his good performance on Sunday night Bell scored 10 points. This season he averages 4.4ppg, 2.1rpg and 1.1apg.
