Top University of Oregon alumni playing currently pro basketball

Every week we bring you a list of the top former Ducks players who continue their career in pro basketball.


   #1. Experienced Bryce Taylor (6'5''-SG-86, played in 2004-08, plays pro in Germany) was the major contributor in a Brose Baskets Bamberg's victory against the 16th-ranked Crailsheim Merlins (7-20) 101-92 in the German BBL in Sunday night's game. He recorded 16 points in a mere 18 minutes. Brose Baskets Bamberg (19-8) is placed fifth in the BBL. It was his team's first victory after three consecutive loses. This year Taylor averages 5.5ppg, 2.2rpg and 1.2apg in 19 games he played so far.

   #2. Chris Boucher (6'10''-C/F-93, graduated '17, plays in the NBA) led Toronto Raptors to an easy victory against the Minnesota Timberwolves (36-46) crushing them 120-100 in the NBA last Tuesday. Boucher recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and getting 13 rebounds. He also added 2 blocks; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Boucher's second season in pro basketball. The Toronto Raptors have a solid 58-24 record this season. There are only three games left until the end of the NBA Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This season Boucher averages 3.3ppg and 2.0rpg. He has also Saint Lucian citizenship.

   #3. Tyler Dorsey (6'4''-SG-96, graduated '17, currently in the NBA) led Memphis Grizzlies to an easy victory against the Golden State Warriors (57-25) 132-117 in the NBA on Wednesday night. Dorsey scored 18 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 28 minutes; not bad, considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. The Memphis Grizzlies have 33-49 record this season. The Regular Season already ended in the NBA. Dorsey has relatively good stats this year 9.8ppg, 3.3rpg and 1.9apg in 21 games. He is a naturalized Greek.

   #4. Jordan Bell (6'9''-F-95, graduated '17, plays pro in the NBA) faced previously mentioned Tyler Dorsey in the NBA last game. Bell could not help the Golden State Warriors (57-25) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite his very good performance the Golden State Warriors (57-25) were defeated 132-117 on the road by the Memphis Grizzlies. Bell scored 15 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. There are only three games left until the end of the NBA Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. This season Bell averages 3.2ppg, 2.7rpg and 1.1apg.

   #5. Troy Brown Jr. (6'7''-F/G-99, graduated '18, plays in the NBA) was not able to help the Washington Wizards (32-50) in their last game. Despite his good performance the Washington Wizards (32-50) were edged 113-110 in New York City by the New York Knicks. Brown Jr. recorded 13 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in 36 minutes. It was Wizards' fourth consecutive loss in a row. The Regular Season already ended in the NBA. It's Brown Jr.'s first season with the team. This year he averages 4.8ppg, 2.8rpg and 1.5apg in 52 games.

   #6. Elijah Brown (6'4''-G-95, graduated '18, currently in Lithuania) led Dzukija to a victory against the closely-ranked Prienu Skycop 88-78 in the Lithuanian LKL on Sunday night. Brown scored 22 points, had 7 rebounds and dished 4 assists. He has relatively good stats this season 12.4ppg, 2.6rpg and 2.5apg.

   #7. Mike Moser (6'8''-F-90, graduated '14, plays pro in France) was not able to secure a victory for JL Bourg Basket in their game against Monaco in the French Jeep ELITE ProA, despite his very good performance in Sunday night's game. He was the top scorer with 14 points. Moser also added 2 blocks in 21 minutes. But his team lost 74-85. This year he averages 9.5ppg, 5.2rpg and 1.1spg in 11 games. Moser is a naturalized Albanian.

   #8. Elgin Cook (6'6''-SF-93, graduated '16, plays in Croatia) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Gorica 92-75 in the Croatian Premijer Liga last Saturday. Cook scored 9 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. It was his first game for KK Cedevita Zagreb this season.

   #9. Roman Sorkin (6'9''-PF-96, graduated '18, currently in Israel) couldn't help Maccabi Hunter Haifa in their game against Afula in the Israeli National League (second division), despite his very good performance in Friday night's game. Sorkin was the top scorer with 19 points. He also added 8 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 27 minutes. But his team was edged 79-77. This year Sorkin averages 8.6ppg and 4.5rpg in 22 games.

   #10. Dwayne Benjamin (6'7''-F-93, graduated '16, plays pro in Slovakia) couldn't help Levice in their game against Handlova in the Slovakian SBL. Despite his very good performance last Wednesday He was the second best scorer with 19 points. Benjamin also added 6 rebounds. He has relatively good stats this season 12.6ppg, 6.6rpg, 1.9apg and 1.1spg.
