Top Indiana University alumni playing currently pro basketball

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Hoosiers alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Jordan Hulls (5'11''-PG-90, graduated '13, plays pro in Germany) led his German team s.Oliver Wuerzburg to a victory over the closely-ranked Openjobmetis VA (4-2) crushing them 89-66 in the FIBA Europe Cup on Wednesday night. He was MVP of the game. Hulls recorded 19 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals in 30 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 2 ranked teams in group I. s.Oliver Wuerzburg (6-0) is placed first. So far his team won all six games in the Semi-Finals. It's Hulls' first season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Hulls averages 15.2ppg, 2.9rpg and 3.7apg.

   #2. Eric Gordon (6'4''-G-88, graduated '08, plays in the NBA) was the major contributor in a Houston Rockets' victory against the Phoenix Suns (19-63) crushing them 149-113 in the NBA in Sunday night's game. Gordon recorded 26 points (!!!). The Houston Rockets have a solid 53-29 record this season. It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. There are only four games left until the end of the NBA Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Gordon has very impressive stats this year 16.2ppg, 2.2rpg and 1.9apg in 68 games he played so far.

   #3. Thomas Bryant (6'10''-F-97, graduated '17, currently in the NBA), who plays in the NBA could not help the Washington Wizards (32-50) in their game last Friday. Despite his very good performance the Washington Wizards (32-50) were badly defeated 129-112 on the road by the San Antonio Spurs. Bryant was the second best scorer with 19 points. He also added 7 rebounds in 32 minutes. The Regular Season already ended in the NBA. Bryant has relatively good stats this season 10.5ppg, 6.3rpg and 1.3apg.

   #4. Yogi Ferrell (6'0''-PG-93, graduated '16, plays in the NBA) was not able to help the Sacramento Kings (39-43) in their game last Wednesday. Despite his very good performance the Sacramento Kings (39-43) were defeated 136-131 in Portland by the Trail Blazers. Ferrell scored 17 points in 29 minutes. The Regular Season already ended in the NBA. This season Ferrell averages 5.9ppg, 1.5rpg and 1.9apg.

   #5. Experienced Bracey Wright (6'3''-G-84, graduated '05, currently in Czech Republic) contributed to an easy victory against the eighth-ranked Brno (11-25) crushing them 111-60 in the Czech Republic NBL last Wednesday. He scored 13 points and added 4 passes. CEZ Basketball Nymburk (36-0) is placed first in Places 1-8 group. So far his team won all games in the Second Stage. The Second Stage already ended. Wright has relatively good stats this year 10.4ppg, 2.8rpg and 3.7apg in 30 games.

   #6. Will Sheehey (6'7''-F-92, graduated '14, plays pro in Portugal) was the main contributor in a FC Porto's victory against the second-ranked Benfica 84-79 in the Portuguese LPB on Sunday night. Sheehey was MVP of the game. He scored 22 points and added 4 assists (was perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line) in 28 minutes. This season Sheehey has very high stats. He averages 19.4ppg, 5.0rpg and 3.2apg.

   #7. Nick Zeisloft (6'4''-G-92, graduated '16, plays in Spain) contributed to a 1-point Delteco Gipuzkoa BC San Sebastian's victory against the 13th-ranked Movil Estudiantes 93-92 in the Spanish Liga Endesa in Saturday night's game. He scored 19 points. Zeisloft has relatively good stats this year 12.5ppg in six games.

   #8. James Blackmon (6'4''-G-95, graduated '18, currently in Italy), who plays in the Italian Serie A was not able to secure a victory for VL Pesaro (7-18) in their game last Sunday. Despite Blackmon's very good performance VL Pesaro was crushed 97-64 in Cremona by the much higher-ranked Vanoli (#3). He was the top scorer with 18 points in 28 minutes. This season Blackmon has very high stats. He averages 20.4ppg, 3.9rpg, 2.1apg and 1.5spg.

   #9. D.J. White (6'9''-F/C-86, graduated '08, plays pro in Turkey) couldn't help Bahcesehir Koleji Istanbul (11-13) in their last game. Despite his good performance Bahcesehir Koleji Istanbul lost 84-93 in Balikesir to the lower-ranked (#10) Banvit. White recorded 14 points. White has relatively good stats this year 13.9ppg, 4.7rpg and 1.4apg in 24 games.

   #10. O.G. Anunoby (6'7''-F-97, graduated '17, plays in the NBA) contributed to an easy victory against the Minnesota Timberwolves crushing them 120-100 in the NBA in Tuesday night's game. Anunoby scored 9 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 18 minutes. This season Anunoby averages 7.0ppg and 2.9rpg.
