Best performed former Florida Gulf Coast University players in pro basketball in last week games

Every week we bring you a list of the top former Eagles players who continue their career in pro basketball.


   #1. Chase Fieler (6'8''-F-92, graduated '14, plays pro in Belgium) led Oostende to a victory over the closely-ranked Spirou Charleroi (16-8) 96-82 in the Belgian Euromillions League last Sunday. He was MVP of the game. Fieler scored 19 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 33 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Filou Oostende (18-6) is placed second in the Euromillions League. Fieler has relatively good stats this year 10.1ppg, 4.1rpg and 2.0apg in 23 games he played so far.

   #2. Bernard Thompson (6'3''-G-93, graduated '15, plays in Hungary) could not help ZTE KK (12-15) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite Thompson's very good performance the fifth-placed ZTE KK (12-15) was defeated 100-86 on the road by the leading Atomeromu in the Places 6-10 group. He recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and making 10 passes. Thompson also added and 4 steals. Thompson has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 15.7ppg, 4.9rpg, 3.2apg and 1.6spg.

   #3. Sherwood Brown (6'4''-G-91, graduated '13, currently in Romania), who plays in the Romanian Liga Nationala was not able to help Timisoara (10-14) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the fifth-placed Timisoara (10-14) lost 83-88 on the opponent's court to the higher-ranked (#4) Craiova in the Group Red. Brown was the top scorer with 22 points. He also added 3 passes in 35 minutes. There are only three games left until the end of the Second Stage. So now every game will be critical. It's Brown's first season with the team. Brown has relatively good stats this year 12.9ppg, 5.5rpg, 1.6apg and 1.3spg in 24 games.

   #4. Marc-Eddy Norelia (6'8''-F-93, graduated '17, plays pro in Portugal) contributed to an easy victory against the sixth-ranked Terceira (10-17) crushing them 103-75 in the Portuguese LPB last Sunday. Norelia scored 10 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. U.D. Oliveirense (25-2) is placed first in Places 1-6 group. Norelia has relatively good stats this season 12.0ppg, 5.4rpg, 1.6apg and 1.3spg. He is a naturalized Haitian.

   #5. Rendijs Feikners (6'2''-G-96, graduated '17, plays in Latvia) was not able to secure a victory for Latvijas Universitate (9-18) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Latvijas Universitate lost 55-60 on the opponent's court to the much higher-ranked (#4) Jurmala. Feikners was the top scorer with 15 points. He also added 6 rebounds in 26 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Feikners' second season in pro basketball. Feikners has relatively good stats this year 14.0ppg, 4.5rpg, 2.5apg and 1.5spg in two games.

Kevin Cantinol (6'10''-C-88) plays for Pays d'Olonnes in French NM2
Christopher Clarke (6'5''-G-90) plays for Valle de Egues in Spanish EBA
