Every week we bring you a list of the top former Islanders players who continue their career in pro basketball.

#1. Rashawn Thomas (6'8''-F-94, graduated '17, plays pro in Italy) led his Italian team Banco di Srd to a victory over the sixth-ranked Hapoel Holon 94-89 in the FIBA Europe Cup on Wednesday night. He was MVP of the game. Thomas recorded 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in 33 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. Banco di Sardegna Sassari (5-1) is placed first in group K. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. It's Thomas' first year with the team. Thomas has relatively good stats this season 15.0ppg, 5.9rpg and 2.2apg.

#2. Experienced Michael Hicks (6'5''-F-76, graduated '01, plays in Argentina) contributed to a San Martin Corrientes' victory against the eighth-ranked Estudiantes Concordia (16-13) 90-84 in the Argentinian La Liga in Sunday night's game. Hicks scored 10 points. San Martin Corrientes (13-15) is placed 12th in the La Liga. It's Hicks' first season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Hicks averages 16.4ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.1apg in 28 games he played so far.

#3. Demond Watt (6'7''-F-89, graduated '11, currently in France) helped STB Le Havre win their game against the leader Souffelweyersheim (9-2) 75-63 in the French NM1 (third division) last Friday. He recorded 7 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists in 31 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group Places 1-10. STB Le Havre (9-3) is placed second. Watt has relatively good stats this season 12.6ppg, 8.6rpg, 1.4apg and 1.1spg.

#4. Viktor Juricek (6'11''-F-93, graduated '16, plays pro in Slovakia) could not help Nova Ves (9-7) in their last game. Despite Juricek's very good performance Nova Ves was crushed 109-65 on the road by the leading Inter Bratislava. He had a double-double by scoring 16 points and getting 12 rebounds; not bad, considering it's only Juricek's third season in pro basketball. Juricek has relatively good stats this year 13.4ppg, 6.6rpg and 1.2apg in 33 games.

#5. Bryce Douvier (6'7''-F-91, graduated '16, plays in Spain) helped Liberbank Oviedo win their game against the 13th-ranked Leyma Basquet (11-20) 80-70 in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division) in Friday night's game. He scored 10 points (went 6 for 6 at the free throw line) in 21 minutes. Liberbank Oviedo (21-10) is placed third in the LEB Gold. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This season Douvier averages 8.6ppg and 4.5rpg. He is a naturalized Austrian.

#6. Zane Knowles (6'10''-C-92, graduated '14, currently in France), who plays in the French ProB (second division) was not able to help Chartres Basket Masculins (13-9) in their last game. Despite his good performance Chartres Basket Masculins was edged 84-83 on the opponent's court by the one of league's weakest teams (#17) Caen. Knowles recorded 13 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Knowles has relatively good stats this year 10.8ppg and 6.4rpg in 12 games.
