Best performed former North Carolina Central University players in pro basketball in last week games

Every week we bring you a list of the top former Eagles players who continue their career in pro basketball.


   #1. Jordan Parks (6'7''-F-94, graduated '15, plays pro in Italy) was the major contributor in a Benfapp CdO's victory against the 13th-ranked Bertram TRT (10-16) crushing them 104-84 in the Italian Serie A2 (second division) last Sunday. He had a double-double by scoring 26 points and getting 11 rebounds in 26 minutes. Benfapp Capo d'Orlando (18-8) is placed second in West group. It was his team's eighth consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Parks' first season with the team. Parks has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 22.8ppg, 7.8rpg, 2.0apg and 1.2spg in 26 games he played so far.

   #2. Nimrod Hilliard IV (6'0''-PG-93, graduated '15, plays in Sweden) could not help Boras Basket (27-9) in their last game on Friday. Despite his very good performance Boras Basket was badly defeated 85-67 on the road by the lower-ranked Norrkoping Dolphins (#5). Hilliard IV was the top scorer with 20 points. He also added 3 passes. This season Hilliard IV has very high stats. He averages 19.6ppg, 2.9rpg, 6.4apg and 1.3spg.

   #3. Experienced Dominique Sutton (6'6''-G/F-86, graduated '12, currently in Spain) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Baloncesto Fuenlabrada (9-16) crushing them 99-76 in the Spanish Liga Endesa in Sunday night's game. He scored 7 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 22 minutes. San Pablo Inmobiliaria Miraflores Burgos (12-14) is placed 11th in the Liga Endesa. Sutton has very impressive stats this year 15.4ppg, 7.4rpg, 2.0apg and 1.5spg in eight games.

   #4. Karamo Jawara (6'8''-F-91, graduated '15, plays pro in Cyprus) was not able to help Etha in their game against AEK Larnaca (17-4) in the Cypriot Division A. Jawara scored 7 points, had 6 boards, passed 5 assists and added 5 steals. Etha was badly defeated 85-68 in Larnaca by the leading AEK Larnaca. Jawara has relatively good stats this season 10.4ppg, 8.7rpg, 4.3apg and 1.5spg.

   #5. Shawn Ray (6'5''-G/F-80, graduated '03, plays in Austria) was not able to secure a victory for Arkadia Traiskirchen Lions (15-17) in their game against Gmunden Swans (23-9) in the Austrian A Bundesliga. He scored only 4 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 16 minutes. Arkadia Traiskirchen Lions were badly defeated 87-67 in Gmunden by the higher-ranked (#3) Swans. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Ray has very impressive stats this year 19.5ppg, 6.8rpg, 2.5apg and 2.2spg in 26 games.
