Here is the weekly review of the top performing Blackbirds alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Lucas Faggiano (6'2''-PG-89, graduated '09, plays pro in Argentina) could not help San Martin Corrientes (13-15) in their game last Thursday. Despite his very good performance San Martin Corrientes was defeated 96-91 on the road by the leading Atenas. Faggiano was the top scorer with 24 points. He also added 4 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals in 36 minutes. Faggiano has relatively good stats this season 12.6ppg, 3.6rpg, 4.9apg and 1.8spg.

#2. Martin Hermannsson (6'3''-G-94, graduated '16, plays in Germany) led his German team ALBA Berlin to an overtime victory against the leader Valencia Basket (6-0) 95-92 in the Eurocup in Friday night's game. He scored 14 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 6 assists; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Hermannsson's third season in pro basketball. It was the game of the round between two top 2 ranked teams in group E. ALBA Berlin (5-1) is placed first. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. Hermannsson has relatively good stats this year 13.1ppg, 1.8rpg and 4.8apg in 19 games he played so far.

#3. Jaytornah Wisseh (6'2''-PG-88, graduated '10, currently in Czech Republic), who plays in the Czech Republic NBL was not able to help SLUNETA Usti nad Labem (17-19) in their game last Wednesday. Despite his very good performance the seventh-placed SLUNETA Usti nad Labem (17-19) was defeated 85-78 in Svitavy by the second-ranked Basketbal in the Places 1-8 group. Wisseh was the second best scorer with 17 points in a mere 19 minutes. His team will play only one more game in the Second Stage. And that game will be critical. This season Wisseh averages 7.7ppg, 2.3rpg and 4.1apg. He is a naturalized Liberian.

#4. Julian Boyd (6'7''-F-90, graduated '14, plays pro in Iceland) was not able to secure a victory for KR (16-12) in their last game. Despite his very good performance KR lost 90-102 in Thorlakshofn to the lower-ranked (#6) Thor Thorl. Boyd had a double-double by scoring 21 points and getting 11 rebounds. Boyd has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 22.5ppg, 10.0rpg, 2.0apg and 1.3spg in 27 games.

#5. Jerome Frink (6'7''-F-93, graduated '17, plays in Turkey) led Sigortam.net ITU to an easy victory against the league outsider Edirne (2-25) crushing them 119-87 in the Turkish TBL (second division) in Friday night's game. He recorded a triple-double by scoring 12 points, grabbing 10 rebounds and passing 10 assists in 33 minutes. Sigortam.net ITU Basket Istanbul (16-11) is placed sixth in the TBL. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. It's Frink's first season with the team. Frink has relatively good stats this year 13.8ppg, 5.7rpg, 2.3apg and 1.3spg.
