Best performed former Rhode Island University players in pro basketball in last week games

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Rams alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Delroy James (6'8''-F-87, graduated '11, plays pro in Greece) led AEK to an overtime victory against the 11th-ranked Lavrio (6-17) 100-94 in the Greek A1 last Saturday. He recorded 14 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and made 2 blocks in a mere 17 minutes. AEK Athens (17-6) is placed third in the A1. It was his team's seventh consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This year James averages 7.6ppg, 3.5rpg and 1.4apg in 13 games he played so far. He is a naturalized Guyanese.

   #2. Nikola Malesevic (6'8''-F-89, graduated '13, plays in Hungary) led Szolnok to a victory over the fifth-ranked PVSK-Veolia (14-13) 71-66 in the Hungarian A Division on Wednesday night. He was MVP of the game. Malesevic recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 4 assists. Szolnoki Olajbanyasz KK (21-6) is placed first in Places 1-5 group. Malesevic has relatively good stats this season 12.3ppg, 6.3rpg, 2.9apg and 1.1spg.

   #3. Experienced Will Daniels (6'8''-F-86, graduated '08, currently in France), who plays in the French Jeep ELITE ProA could not help Levallois (14-13) in their last game. Despite his good performance Levallois lost 78-83 on the road to the lower-ranked (#13) Le Portel. Daniels was the second best scorer with 12 points. He also added 5 rebounds in 29 minutes. It was Levallois' first loss after three consecutive victories. Daniels has relatively good stats this year 13.7ppg and 5.9rpg in seven games.

   #4. Jimmy Baron (6'3''-G-86, graduated '09, plays pro in France) was not able to help Champagne Chalons-Reims Basket in their game against Limoges CSP Elite (14-12) in the French Jeep ELITE ProA. Despite his very good performance on Wednesday night Baron was the top scorer with 18 points. He also added 4 rebounds. It's Baron's first season with the team. Baron has relatively good stats this year 12.9ppg, 2.4rpg and 2.0apg.

   #5. Hassan Martin (6'7''-F-95, graduated '17, plays in Germany) was not able to secure a victory for medi Bayreuth (12-14) in their game against BG Goettingen (8-18) in the German BBL. Martin scored 9 points, had 6 rebounds and made 3 blocks in 22 minutes. But medi Bayreuth was edged 78-75 in Goettingen by the lower-ranked (#14) BG Goettingen. It was medi Bayreuth's third consecutive loss in a row. Martin has relatively good stats this year 13.3ppg, 6.3rpg and 2.3bpg in 15 games.

   #6. Kahiem Seawright (6'9''-C/F-86, graduated '09, currently in Israel) couldn't help one of league's weakest teams Afula in their game against Maccabi Haifa in the Israeli National League (second division). Despite his very good performance on Sunday night Seawright recorded a double-double by scoring 22 points and getting 10 rebounds. Seawright has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 18.4ppg, 11.1rpg and 1.5apg.

   #7. LaMonte Ulmer (6'6''-SF-86, graduated '10, plays pro in France) contributed to a 3-point JL Bourg Basket's victory against the sixth-ranked Chalon/Saor 79-76 in the French Jeep ELITE ProA last Tuesday. He scored 7 points and blocked 2 shots in 22 minutes. This year Ulmer averages 8.8ppg, 3.5rpg, 1.4apg and 1.2spg in 24 games.

   #8. Four McGlynn (6'2''-G-92, graduated '16, plays in Portugal) couldn't help Illiabum in their game against Imortal in the Portuguese LPB. Despite his very good performance on Friday night McGlynn was the second best scorer with 20 points. He also added 4 steals (made all of his seven free throws). This season McGlynn has very high stats. He averages 20.6ppg, 2.8rpg and 4.1apg.

   #9. Jared Terrell (6'3''-G-95, graduated '18, currently in the NBA) couldn't help the Minnesota Timberwolves in their game against the Toronto Raptors in the NBA. He scored 5 points and added 3 assists in 16 minutes. His team were badly defeated by 20 points 120-100 in the NBA. This year Terrell averages 2.2ppg in 14 games.

   #10. Andre Berry (6'8''-C-95, graduated '18, plays pro in Spain) couldn't help Girona Basquet in their game against Navarra in the Spanish LEB Silver (third division). Despite his very good performance on Saturday night He was the top scorer with 22 points. Berry also added 6 rebounds. Berry has relatively good stats this season 10.6ppg and 5.0rpg.
