Best performed former Norfolk State University players in pro basketball in last week games

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Spartans alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Kyle Williams (6'4''-G-95, graduated '18, plays pro in United Kingdom) could not help Newcastle Eagles Esh Group (20-10) in their last game. Despite his good performance Newcastle Eagles Esh Group was badly defeated 101-81 on the road by the leading London Lions. Williams was the top scorer with 13 points. He also added 6 assists in 25 minutes. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This year Williams averages 10.0ppg, 3.2rpg and 1.5apg in 29 games he played so far. He is a naturalized British.

   #2. Kyle O'Quinn (6'10''-F-90, graduated '12, plays in the NBA) contributed to a 1-point Indiana Pacers' victory against the Atlanta Hawks (29-53) 135-134 in the NBA on Wednesday night. O'Quinn scored 6 points and blocked 2 shots. The Indiana Pacers have 48-34 record this season. There are only four games left until the end of the NBA Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. It's O'Quinn's first year with the team. This season he averages 3.5ppg, 2.7rpg and 1.3apg.

   #3. Pendarvis Williams (6'6''-G-91, graduated '14, currently in Germany) was the major contributor in a 3-point BG Goettingen's victory against the closely-ranked BBC Bayreuth (12-14) 78-75 in the German BBL in Saturday night's game. Williams scored 11 points in 26 minutes. BG Goettingen (7-13) is placed seventh in the BBL. This year Williams averages 9.5ppg, 2.5rpg and 1.8apg in 26 games.

   #4. Rashid Gaston (6'9''-C-94, graduated '17, plays pro in France) managed to help Rueil Athletic Club Basket to win against the ninth-ranked SO Maritime Boulogne (3-9) 106-97 in the French NM1 (third division) last Saturday. Gaston recorded only 4 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Rueil Athletic Club Basket (5-7) is placed seventh in Places 1-10 group. It's Gaston's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 10.4ppg, 4.2rpg and 1.4apg.

   #5. Daniel Robinson (7'0''-C-93, graduated '18, plays in Spain) contributed to Gallofa's victory against the 13th-ranked Solares (5-19) 83-79 in the Spanish EBA (fourth division) on Saturday night. Robinson recorded only one point and grabbed 5 rebounds in 10 minutes. La Gallofa Cantbasket 04 (17-7) is placed fourth in Group A-A. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. It's Robinson's first season with the team. This year he averages 8.6ppg and 4.3rpg in 24 games. He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.
