Every week we bring you a list of the top former Buckeyes players who continue their career in pro basketball.

#1. DeShaun Thomas (6'7''-PF-91, graduated '13, plays pro in Greece) was the major contributor in Panathinaikos' victory against one of league's weakest teams Buducnost (6-24) crushing them 87-67 in the Euroleague last Thursday. He scored 17 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 33 minutes. Panathinaikos Superfoods Athens (16-14) is placed sixth in the Euroleague. There are only three games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Thomas' first season with the team. Thomas has relatively good stats this year 10.3ppg and 3.9rpg in 29 games he played so far.

#2. D'Angelo Russell (6'5''-SG-96, graduated '15, plays in the NBA) could not help the Brooklyn Nets (41-40) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite Russell's very good performance the Brooklyn Nets (41-40) were defeated 115-105 on the road by the Toronto Raptors. He was the top scorer with 27 points. Russell also added 7 rebounds and dished 6 assists. His team will play only one more game in the NBA Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. Russell has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 21.1ppg, 3.9rpg, 7.0apg and 1.2spg.

#3. Experienced Othello Hunter (6'8''-C-86, graduated '08, currently in Russia) contributed to CSKA's victory against the seventh-ranked BC Nizhny Novgorod (12-10) 95-89 in the VTB United League in Tuesday night's game. Hunter scored 10 points in 18 minutes. CSKA Moscow (21-4) is placed first in the VTB United League. His team will play only one more game in the VTB United League Regular Season. And now that game is quite important. This year Hunter averages 9.3ppg, 4.3rpg and 1.1apg in 19 games. He is a naturalized Liberian.

#4. Daequan Cook (6'5''-G/F-87, graduated '07, plays pro in Israel) led Ironi Hai Motors Nes-Ziona to a surprising victory over the league leader Hapoel Holon (19-7) 97-84 in the Israeli Winner League last Sunday. He was MVP of the game. Cook recorded 30 points (!!!) and added 3 assists. Ironi Hai Motors Nes-Ziona (11-14) is placed seventh in the Winner League. This season Cook has very high stats. He averages 18.0ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.5apg.

#5. Jae'Sean Tate (6'4''-F-95, graduated '18, plays in Belgium) led Telenet Giants Antwerp to a victory over one of league's weakest teams Leuven Bears (5-19) 79-67 in the Belgian Euromillions League on Saturday night. He was MVP of the game. Tate scored 16 points, had 5 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 25 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. Telenet Giants Antwerp (19-4) is placed first in the Euromillions League. It was his team's 12th consecutive victory in a row. It's Tate's first year with the team. Tate has relatively good stats this season 11.5ppg, 4.3rpg and 2.0apg in 23 games.
