Every week we bring you a list of the top former Sooners players who continue their career in pro basketball.

#1. Blake Griffin (6'10''-F-89, graduated '09, plays pro in the NBA) could not help the Detroit Pistons (40-41) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the Detroit Pistons (40-41) lost 110-123 on the road to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Griffin was the top scorer with 45 points. He also added 7 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 35 minutes. It was Pistons' fourth consecutive loss in a row. Griffin's team will play only one more game in the NBA Regular Season. And that game will be critical. It's Griffin's first season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Griffin averages 24.5ppg, 7.5rpg and 5.4apg in 75 games he played so far.

#2. Trae Young (6'2''-G-98, graduated '18, plays in the NBA) led Atlanta Hawks to a victory over the Philadelphia 76ers (50-31) 130-122 in the NBA on Wednesday night. He was MVP of the game. Young recorded a double-double by scoring 33 points and making 12 passes. He also added 7 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line); quite an impressive performance considering it's only Young's first season in pro basketball. The Atlanta Hawks have 29-52 record this season. His team will play only one more game in the NBA Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. It's Young's first year with the team. This season Young has very high stats. He averages 19.1ppg, 3.7rpg and 8.0apg.

#3. Tashawn Thomas (6'8''-F-93, graduated '15, currently in Israel) contributed to a Hapoel Jerusalem's victory against the closely-ranked Maccabi T-A (18-6) 98-92 in the Israeli Winner League in Monday night's game. Thomas had a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 4 blocks in 38 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Hapoel Jerusalem (18-7) is placed third in the Winner League. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Thomas has relatively good stats this year 12.8ppg, 8.2rpg, 1.7apg and 1.5bpg in 20 games.

#4. Buddy Hield (6'4''-G-93, graduated '16, plays pro in the NBA) was the main contributor in a Sacramento Kings' victory against the Cleveland Cavaliers (19-63) 117-104 in the NBA last Thursday. Hield was MVP of the game. He recorded 23 points and had 3 steals; not bad, considering it's only Hield's third season in pro basketball. The Sacramento Kings have 39-42 record this season. His team will play only one more game in the NBA Regular Season. And now that game is quite important. This season Hield has very high stats. He averages 20.8ppg, 5.1rpg and 2.5apg.

#5. Willie Warren (6'4''-PG-89, graduated '10, plays in Lebanon) was not able to help Hoops Club (6-10) in their last game. Despite Warren's very good performance Hoops Club lost 69-75 in a derby game to the second-ranked Homentmen. He was the top scorer with 39 points.    #6. Amath M'Baye (6'9''-F-89, graduated '13, currently in Italy) helped his Italian team Virtus Bologna win their game against the third-ranked JSF Nanterre 73-58 in the Basketball Champions League in Wednesday night's game. He was MVP of the game. M'Baye scored 16 points. He has relatively good stats this season 11.3ppg, 3.8rpg and 1.3apg. M'Baye has also French passport.
