We bring you last week's top former Wildcats players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Stephen Curry (6'3''-PG-88, graduated '09, plays pro in the NBA) led Golden State Warriors to a 2-point victory against the Houston Rockets (42-26) 106-104 in the NBA in Wednesday night's game. He scored 24 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 5 assists (went 5 for 5 at the free throw line) in 35 minutes. The Golden State Warriors have a solid 46-21 record this season. It's Curry's tenth year with the team. Curry has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 27.9ppg, 5.3rpg, 5.2apg and 1.3spg in 56 games he played so far.

   #2. De'Mon Brooks (6'8''-F-92, graduated '14, plays in Germany) was the major contributor in a medi Bayreuth's victory against the closely-ranked Giessen 46ers (11-12) 95-80 in the German BBL last Friday. Brooks scored 13 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. medi Bayreuth (11-10) is placed ninth in the BBL. Brooks has relatively good stats this season 13.9ppg, 5.2rpg and 1.7apg.

   #3. Tyler Kalinoski (6'4''-G-92, graduated '15, currently in Belgium), who plays in Belgium could not help Telenet Giants Antwerp (6-8) in their last game. Despite Kalinoski's very good performance the fourth-placed Telenet Giants Antwerp (6-8) was edged 78-77 on the road by the lower-ranked (#9) UCAM Murcia in the group C of Basketball Champions League. He was the top scorer with 16 points. Kalinoski also added 3 passes in 20 minutes. This year Kalinoski averages 9.2ppg, 3.6rpg and 2.8apg in 20 games.

   #4. Jake Cohen (6'10''-F/C-90, graduated '13, plays pro in Israel) contributed to a Maccabi T-A's victory against the closely-ranked Hapoel Jerusalem (15-6) 89-78 in the Israeli Winner League in Sunday night's game. Cohen scored 9 points, had 6 rebounds and dished 3 assists. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Maccabi Fox Tel-Aviv (16-4) is placed second in the Winner League. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. This season Cohen averages 7.5ppg, 4.3rpg and 2.0apg. He is a naturalized Israeli.

   #5. Peyton Aldridge (6'8''-F-95, graduated '18, plays in Italy) helped Vanoli Basket Cremona win their game against the league outsider Pistoia Basket (5-16) 90-80 in the Italian Serie A last Sunday. He scored 8 points in 23 minutes. Vanoli Basket Cremona (14-7) is placed third in the Serie A. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Aldridge has relatively good stats this year 12.6ppg, 4.4rpg and 1.3apg in 20 games.

   #6. Jack Gibbs (6'0''-G-95, graduated '17, currently in Finland), who plays in the Finnish Korisliiga was not able to help Vilpas (27-5) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite Gibbs' good performance the league leader Vilpas was defeated 114-107 on the opponent's court by the much lower-ranked Lapuan_Korikobrat (#9). He scored 12 points, made 5 passes and 3 steals. Gibbs has relatively good stats this season 14.5ppg, 2.7rpg and 3.6apg.

   #7. Jordan Barham (6'4''-G-94, graduated '16, plays pro in Czech Republic) led NH Ostrava to an easy victory against the fourth-ranked Kralovsti sokoli crushing them 110-65 in the Czech Republic NBL in Saturday night's game. Barham recorded 12 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists in 24 minutes. Barham has relatively good stats this year 12.3ppg and 4.7rpg in three games.

   #8. Chris Czerapowicz (6'7''-G-91, graduated '14, plays in Russia) managed to help BC Nizhny Novgorod to win against the 11th-ranked Enisey 79-64 in the VTB United League last Friday. Czerapowicz recorded only 2 points. Czerapowicz has relatively good stats this season 11.3ppg and 3.8rpg. He is a naturalized Swedish.
