Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top former Mountaineers players who continue their career in pro basketball.


   #1. Da'Sean Butler (6'7''-F-88, graduated '10, plays pro in Israel) was the major contributor in a Hapoel Jerusalem's victory against the closely-ranked Neptunas (8-6) 86-74 in the Basketball Champions League on Wednesday night. He recorded 15 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 24 minutes. Hapoel Jerusalem (12-2) is placed second in group C. It was his team's ninth consecutive victory in a row. It's Butler's first season with the team. This year Butler averages 9.9ppg and 5.5rpg.

   #2. Jonathan Holton (6'8''-F-91, graduated '16, plays in Argentina) could not help Obras Basket (1-0) in their last game. Despite Holton's very good performance the league leader Obras Basket lost 78-87 on the road to the much lower-ranked (#10) Comunicaciones. He had a double-double by scoring 20 points and getting 12 rebounds. Holton also added and 4 steals; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. This year Holton averages 5.5ppg and 5.1rpg in 17 games he played so far.

   #3. John Flowers (6'7''-F-89, graduated '11, currently in Argentina), who plays in the Argentinian La Liga was not able to help La Union (12-22) in their game last Monday. Despite Flowers' very good performance La Union was defeated 93-83 in La Banda by the lower-ranked Olimpico de (#13). He was the second best scorer with 21 points. Flowers also added 7 rebounds in 36 minutes. It's Flowers' first season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Flowers averages 16.8ppg, 6.3rpg and 2.1apg.

   #4. Devin Ebanks (6'9''-F-89, graduated '10, plays pro in France) led Champagne Chalons-Reims Basket to a victory over the closely-ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (14-7) 88-78 in the French Jeep ELITE ProA on Friday night. Ebanks was MVP of the game. He recorded 18 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. Champagne Chalons-Reims Basket (15-7) is placed fourth in the Jeep ELITE ProA. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Ebanks has very impressive stats this year 20.6ppg, 7.4rpg and 1.6apg in 22 games.

   #5. Kevin Jones (6'9''-F-89, graduated '12, plays in Japan) was the main contributor in a 3-point Ryukyu GK's victory against the fourth-ranked Toyama Grouses (22-22) 72-69 in the Japanese B League in Saturday night's game. Jones was MVP of the game. He recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and getting 11 rebounds in 34 minutes. Ryukyu Golden Kings Okinawa (28-16) is placed first in West group. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. This season Jones has very high stats. He averages 15.5ppg, 9.9rpg, 2.3apg and 1.2spg.

   #6. Experienced Joe Alexander (6'8''-C/F-86, graduated '08, currently in Turkey) was not able to secure a victory for Besiktas in their game against JSF Nanterre in the Basketball Champions League. He recorded 6 points. His team lost 59-68. This year Alexander averages 5.7ppg, 3.6rpg and 1.4apg in 11 games. He is a naturalized Israeli.

   #7. Darryl Bryant (6'1''-PG-90, graduated '12, plays pro in Uruguay) couldn't help Goes (18-10) in their game last Saturday. Despite his very good performance his team was defeated 81-74 in a derby game by the leading Olimpia in the Places 7-10 group. Bryant was the top scorer with 29 points. He also added 4 rebounds in 35 minutes. This season Bryant has very high stats. He averages 21.8ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.5apg.

   #8. Deniz Kilicli (6'9''-C-90, graduated '13, plays in Turkey) couldn't help Demir Insaat Buyukcekmece Basket (6-13) in their last game. Despite his good performance Demir Insaat Buyukcekmece Basket was crushed 93-69 on the opponent's court by the much higher-ranked (#4) Gaziantep. Kilicli was the second best scorer with 13 points. He also added 7 rebounds. This year Kilicli averages 2.9ppg and 1.8rpg in 13 games.

   #9. Teyvon Myers (6'2''-G-94, graduated '17, currently in Sweden) contributed to a KFUM Jamtland Basket's victory against one of league's weakest teams Koping Stars 93-80 in the Swedish Basketligan last Tuesday. He scored 17 points and added 4 assists in 25 minutes. This season Myers has very high stats. He averages 17.6ppg, 3.0rpg and 3.6apg.

   #10. Juwan Staten (6'1''-PG-92, graduated '15, plays pro in Finland) helped Helsinki Seagulls win their game against one of league's weakest teams UU-Korihait crushing them 96-75 in the Finnish Korisliiga on Wednesday night. He was MVP of the game. Staten recorded 21 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists. Staten has very impressive stats this year 17.8ppg, 3.0rpg and 5.6apg in 23 games.
