Best performed former University of Florida players in pro basketball in last week games

We bring you last week's top former Gators players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Bradley Beal (6'5''-SG-93, graduated '12, plays pro in the NBA) could not help the Washington Wizards (29-39) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the Washington Wizards (29-39) lost 130-135 on the road to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Beal had a double-double by scoring 36 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 9 assists in 45 minutes. It's Beal's seventh season with the team. Beal has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 25.8ppg, 5.3rpg, 5.6apg and 1.5spg in 68 games he played so far.

   #2. Nick Calathes (6'6''-PG-89, graduated '09, plays in Greece) contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider Darussafaka (3-22) crushing them 91-67 in the Euroleague on Thursday night. Calathes recorded a double-double by scoring 10 points and making 11 passes. He also added 4 rebounds and 3 steals. Panathinaikos Superfoods Athens (12-13) is placed tenth in the Euroleague. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. It's Calathes' fourth season with the team. Calathes has relatively good stats this year 11.8ppg, 3.8rpg, 8.4apg and 1.7spg. He is a naturalized Greek.

   #3. Kenny Boynton (6'2''-PG-91, graduated '13, currently in China), who plays in the Chinese CBA was not able to help Shenzhen Leopards (34-12) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Shenzhen Leopards lost 114-128 in Dongguan to the leading Guandong Tigers. Boynton was the top scorer with 31 points. He also added 4 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 38 minutes. It was Shenzhen Leopards' first loss after three consecutive victories. The Regular Season already ended. Boynton has very impressive stats this year 24.9ppg, 4.5rpg, 4.7apg and 1.3spg in 46 games.

   #4. Scottie Wilbekin (6'2''-G-93, graduated '14, plays pro in Israel) led Maccabi T-A to a victory over the closely-ranked Hapoel Jerusalem (15-6) 89-78 in the Israeli Winner League last Sunday. Wilbekin was MVP of the game. He scored 18 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 5 assists. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Maccabi Fox Tel-Aviv (16-4) is placed second in the Winner League. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Wilbekin has relatively good stats this season 13.5ppg, 2.6rpg, 4.4apg and 1.2spg. He is a naturalized Turk.

   #5. Experienced Alfred Horford (6'10''-F/C-86, graduated '07, plays in the NBA) was the major contributor in a 2-point Boston Celtics' victory against the Sacramento Kings (33-33) 111-109 in the NBA on Wednesday night. He had a double-double by scoring 21 points and getting 11 rebounds. Horford also added 7 assists in 31 minutes. The Boston Celtics have a solid 41-27 record this season. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Horford has very impressive stats this year 13.1ppg, 6.7rpg, 4.0apg and 1.3bpg in 58 games.

   #6. Vernon Macklin (6'10''-F/C-86, graduated '11, currently in Japan) contributed to a 3-point Kawasaki Brave Thunders' victory against the fifth-ranked Fukuoka Rizing 108-105 in the Japanese B League in Saturday night's game. He recorded a double-double by scoring 24 points and getting 11 rebounds. Macklin also added 6 assists and 2 blocks. This season Macklin has very high stats. He averages 15.4ppg, 9.0rpg and 3.0apg.

   #7. Wilfried Yeguete (6'7''-PF-91, graduated '14, plays pro in France) contributed to a Le Mans Sarthe Basket's surprising victory against the league leader ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket 89-83 in the French Jeep ELITE ProA last Sunday. He recorded 12 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 22 minutes. This year Yeguete averages 9.0ppg, 6.8rpg, 1.6apg and 1.6spg in 22 games.

   #8. Michael Frazier (6'4''-G-94, graduated '15, plays in the NBA G League) was not able to secure a victory for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers (32-16) in their last game on Tuesday. Despite his very good performance the Rio Grande Valley Vipers were defeated 138-126 in Salt Lake City by the Stars. Frazier was the top scorer with 30 points. He also added 5 assists. This season Frazier has very high stats. He averages 16.5ppg, 5.5rpg, 3.3apg and 1.4spg.

   #9. Joakim Noah (6'11''-F/C-85, graduated '07, currently in the NBA), who plays in the NBA couldn't help the Memphis Grizzlies (28-41) in their last game. Despite Noah's good performance the Memphis Grizzlies were crushed 132-111 in Atlanta by the Hawks. He scored 12 points, had 8 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 24 minutes. This year Noah averages 6.9ppg, 5.6rpg and 2.2apg in 39 games. He is a naturalized French.

   #10. Dorian Finney-Smith (6'8''-F-93, graduated '16, plays pro in the NBA) couldn't help the Dallas Mavericks (27-40) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite his good performance the Dallas Mavericks were defeated 132-123 in Washington by the Wizards. Finney-Smith scored 10 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Finney-Smith has relatively good stats this season 7.7ppg and 4.9rpg.
