Here is the weekly review of the top performing Lopes alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Dewayne Russell (5'11''-G-94, graduated '17, plays pro in Germany) could not help HAKRO Merlins Crailsheim (5-17) in their last game. Despite his very good performance HAKRO Merlins Crailsheim was edged 88-87 on the road by the much higher-ranked (#7) Telekom Baskets. Russell was the second best scorer with 18 points. He also added 5 assists in 23 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Russell's second season in pro basketball. This year Russell averages 9.9ppg, 1.8rpg and 3.9apg in 20 games he played so far.

#2. Casey Benson (6'3''-PG-95, graduated '19, plays in Slovenia) contributed to a Hopsi Polzela's victory against the fourth-ranked Rogaska (1-1) 81-76 in the Slovenian Liga Nova KBM last Saturday. Benson scored 7 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and dished 8 assists. Hopsi Polzela (8-10) is placed second in Places 1-6 group. It's Benson's first season with the team. This year he averages 7.4ppg, 4.2rpg and 5.6apg.

#3. Royce Woolridge (6'3''-G-92, graduated '15, currently in Slovenia) was not able to help Sentjur in their game against Zlatorog (4-4) in the Slovenian Liga Nova KBM. He scored 7 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 28 minutes. The first-placed Sentjur (6-2) was badly defeated 76-57 in Lasko by the lower-ranked (#3) Zlatorog in the Places 7-10 group. It's Woolridge's first season with the team. This year Woolridge averages 9.0ppg, 5.4rpg, 4.9apg and 1.3spg in eight games.

#4. Fiifi Aidoo (6'2''-PG-96, graduated '18, plays pro in Finland) managed to help Kaarinan Ura Basket to win against the fourth-ranked KTP-Basket (17-14) 82-71 in the Finnish Korisliiga in Wednesday night's game. Aidoo scored only 4 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 3 assists. Kaarinan Ura Basket (8-25) closes the standings in the Korisliiga. But the situation may improve as they ended a series of five consecutive loses. It's Aidoo's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 10.3ppg, 3.5rpg, 4.4apg and 1.5spg. Aidoo has also Finnish passport.

#5. Keonta Vernon (6'6''-F/C-94, graduated '18, plays in France) led Toulouse to an easy victory against the leader Vendee Challans (18-6) 87-72 in the French NM1 (third division) last Saturday. He had a double-double by scoring 16 points and getting 11 rebounds. Vernon also added 4 assists, 2 blocks and 5 steals in 27 minutes; not bad, considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in Group B. Toulouse Basket Club (12-4) is placed second. It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. The Regular Season already ended. It's Vernon's first year with the team. Vernon has relatively good stats this season 10.6ppg, 5.7rpg, 1.6apg and 1.7spg in 21 games.
