Best performed former Cal State - Northridge players in pro basketball in last week games

We bring you last week's top former Matadors players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Experienced Davin White (6'1''-PG-81, graduated '05, plays pro in Spain) could not help Iberostar Tenerife CB Canarias (12-10) in their last game. Despite his good performance Iberostar Tenerife CB Canarias lost 86-90 on the road to the much lower-ranked (#15) Gran Canaria. White recorded 12 points in just a mere 14 minutes. It was Iberostar Tenerife CB Canarias' third consecutive loss in a row. It's White's first season with the team. This year he averages 8.6ppg, 1.1rpg, 2.6apg and 1.3spg in nine games he played so far.

   #2. Michael Efevberha (6'4''-G-84, graduated '06, plays in Lebanon) was not able to help Homentmen in their game against Champville (11-3) in the Lebanese LBL. Despite his very good performance last Friday He was the second best scorer with 21 points. Efevberha also added 5 rebounds. The Regular Season already ended. Efevberha has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 20.8ppg, 4.6rpg, 1.9apg and 1.5spg. Efevberha is a naturalized Nigerian.

   #3. Steph Hicks (6'6''-G-92, graduated '15, currently in the NBA G League) was not able to secure a victory for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants (20-25) in their game against the Long Island Nets (32-14) in the NBA G League, despite his very good performance on Wednesday night. Hicks was the second best scorer with 23 points. He also added 6 rebounds and 3 assists in 36 minutes. But the Fort Wayne Mad Ants (#3) lost 123-128 in Uniondale to the Long Island Nets. Hicks has very impressive stats this year 15.9ppg, 7.0rpg and 1.1apg in 43 games.

   #4. Stephen Maxwell (6'7''-F-93, graduated '15, plays pro in Portugal) couldn't help Imortal (3-19) in their game against Lusitania (11-11) in the Portuguese LPB. Despite his very good performance in Sunday night's game He recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and getting 11 rebounds. The Regular Season already ended. This season Maxwell has very high stats. He averages 18.0ppg and 8.5rpg.

   #5. Michael Hayes-Lizarraga (6'7''-F-89, graduated '12, plays in Mexico) managed to help Fuerza Regia Monterrey in a victory against the fourth-ranked Laguneros (19-20) 94-86 in the Mexican LNBP (second division) on Thursday night. He recorded only 4 points in 19 minutes. Fuerza Regia Monterrey (31-9) is placed first in North group. It's Hayes-Lizarraga's first season with the team. This year Hayes-Lizarraga averages 5.2ppg, 3.5rpg and 1.3apg in 39 games. He is a naturalized Mexican.

   #6. Josh Greene (6'1''-SG-92, graduated '14, currently in Sweden) couldn't help Umea in their game against Nassjo in the Swedish Basketligan. He scored 6 points. His team was edged 79-77. Greene has relatively good stats this season 11.0ppg, 1.6rpg and 2.7apg.

   #7. Aaron Parks (6'3''-G-94, graduated '17, plays pro in Russia) led Uralmash to a victory over the closely-ranked Spartak Primorie Vladivostok 84-70 in the Russian Superleague 1 (second division) last Friday. Parks was MVP of the game. He scored 22 points, had 6 rebounds and dished 6 assists in 31 minutes. Parks has relatively good stats this year 14.3ppg, 4.8rpg, 3.8apg and 1.4spg in 20 games.
