Here is the weekly review of the top performing Mountain Hawks alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. C.J. McCollum (6'4''-G-91, graduated '13, plays pro in the NBA) led Portland Trail Blazers to a victory over the Phoenix Suns (16-52) 127-120 in the NBA on Saturday night. He was MVP of the game. McCollum scored 26 points (!!!) and added 4 assists in 30 minutes. The Portland Trail Blazers have a solid 40-26 record this season. It's McCollum's fifth year with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. McCollum averages 21.2ppg, 4.0rpg and 2.8apg.

   #2. Mackey McKnight (6'0''-PG-92, graduated '14, plays in United Kingdom) managed to help DBL Sharks Sheffield in a 3-point victory against the league outsider Worcester Wolves (3-19) 71-68 in the British BBL in Friday night's game. He scored 5 points and added 6 assists. It was his first game for DBL Sharks Sheffield this season. His team is placed fifth in the BBL. It was his team's first victory after five consecutive loses.

   #3. Experienced Austen Rowland (6'1''-PG-81, graduated '04, currently in France) was the major contributor in a La Charite's victory against the sixth-ranked Etoile Angers (13-11) 90-84 in the French NM1 (third division) last Saturday. Rowland recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and making 10 passes. He also added 4 rebounds and 4 steals in 35 minutes. La Charite Basket 58 (14-10) is placed fourth in Group B. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. The Regular Season already ended. This season Rowland has very high stats. He averages 15.4ppg, 3.4rpg, 6.9apg and 1.7spg.

   #4. Kahron Ross (5'11''-PG-95, graduated '18, plays pro in Germany) contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider Baunach (5-23) 80-61 in the German ProA (second division) on Saturday night. He scored 9 points, had 7 rebounds and dished 6 assists. PS Karlsruhe Lions (14-13) is placed eighth in the ProA. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Ross' first season with the team. This year Ross averages 8.5ppg, 2.3rpg, 4.6apg and 1.4spg in 27 games he played so far.

   #5. Michael Ojo (6'5''-G-89, graduated '11, plays in Italy) could not help Virtus Cassino (2-22) in their game last Saturday. Despite Ojo's very good performance the 16th-placed Virtus Cassino (2-22) was crushed 104-82 at home by the much higher-ranked Benacquista LT (#6) in the West group. He was the top scorer with 21 points. Ojo also added 4 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 35 minutes. It was his first game for Virtus Cassino this season. Ojo has also Nigerian passport.
