Best performed former Morehead State University players in pro basketball in last week games

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Eagles alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Angelo Warner (6'2''-PG-92, graduated '15, plays pro in Hungary) could not help Sopron KC (8-12) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Sopron KC was badly defeated 105-85 at home by the higher-ranked (#9) Atomeromu. Warner was the top scorer with 28 points. He also added 5 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 35 minutes. It was Sopron KC's third consecutive loss in a row. It's Warner's first season with the team. Warner has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 19.6ppg, 5.9rpg, 5.2apg and 1.9spg in 20 games he played so far.

   #2. Karam Mashour (6'6''-SF-91, graduated '15, plays in Israel) was not able to help Bnei Hertzeliya (4-16) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his very good performance the bottom-ranked Bnei Hertzeliya was edged 85-82 on their home court in Hod Hasharon by the leading Hapoel Holon. Mashour was the top scorer with 19 points. He also added 7 rebounds. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Mashour has relatively good stats this season 12.2ppg, 5.6rpg, 1.3apg and 1.3spg.

   #3. Demonte Harper (6'4''-G-89, graduated '11, currently in Italy) was not able to secure a victory for Sidigas AV (12-8) in their game against Dolomiti En. TR (10-10) in the Italian Serie A. It was not his best game last Sunday. Harper scored only 3 points in 20 minutes. Sidigas AV was badly defeated 97-79 on the road by the lower-ranked (#10) Dolomiti En. TR. This year Harper averages 3.0ppg, 2.0rpg and 3.7apg in three games.

   #4. Brent Arrington (6'3''-G-92, graduated '16, plays pro in Canada) couldn't help the Saint John Riptide (13-22) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Arrington's good performance the Saint John Riptide (#4) was defeated 99-94 in Kitchener by the Titans. He recorded 13 points, 4 rebounds and 8 assists. There are only three games left until the end of the NBLCanada Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. It's Arrington's first season with the team. Arrington has relatively good stats this year 11.0ppg, 4.1rpg, 5.0apg and 1.4spg.

   #5. Anthony Elechi (6'8''-F-93, graduated '16, plays in United Kingdom) couldn't help Surrey Scorchers (4-18) in their last game. Despite Elechi's good performance Surrey Scorchers was badly defeated 108-89 in Plymouth by the higher-ranked (#7) Raiders. He scored 11 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 22 minutes. Elechi has relatively good stats this year 11.9ppg, 9.6rpg and 1.6apg in nine games. He is a naturalized Nigerian. He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

   #6. Kareem Storey (6'0''-PG-92, graduated '15, currently in Romania) couldn't help Medias in their game against Voluntari in the Romanian Liga Nationala. Storey scored 5 points and added 3 passes. His team was defeated 92-84. Storey has relatively good stats this season 14.2ppg, 2.6rpg, 3.7apg and 2.5spg.

   #7. Chad Posthumus (6'11''-C-91, graduated '14, plays pro in Canada) couldn't help the Halifax Hurricanes (20-14) in their last game. Despite Posthumus' good performance the Halifax Hurricanes (#2) were crushed 147-124 in Windsor by the Express. He recorded 11 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in a mere 15 minutes. This year Posthumus averages 4.0ppg and 1.8rpg in 12 games.

   #8. Xavier Moon (6'2''-G-95, graduated '17, plays in Canada) led London Lightning to a 1-point victory over the Halifax Hurricanes 100-99 in the NBLCanada on Thursday night. He was MVP of the game. Moon recorded 21 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Moon has relatively good stats this season 14.4ppg, 4.6rpg, 4.1apg and 1.4spg.
