We bring you last week's top former Golden Hurricane players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Justin Hurtt (6'5''-G-88, graduated '11, plays pro in Argentina) could not help Hispano Americano de Rio Gallegos (9-8) in their game last Friday. Despite his very good performance Hispano Americano de Rio Gallegos was edged 87-85 on the road by the lower-ranked Bahia Basket (#15). Hurtt was the top scorer with 18 points. He also added 4 rebounds in 30 minutes. It's Hurtt's first season with the team. Hurtt has relatively good stats this year 10.1ppg and 3.0rpg.

   #2. Experienced Jerome Jordan (7'1''-C-86, graduated '10, plays in Spain) contributed to an easy victory against the leader ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (5-1) 98-79 in the Eurocup in Friday night's game. Jordan scored 10 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. It was the game of the round between two top 2 ranked teams in group H. MoraBanc Andorra (5-1) is placed second. It was his team's eighth consecutive victory in a row. This year Jordan averages 5.0ppg and 2.6rpg in seven games he played so far.

   #3. Junior Etou (6'8''-F-94, graduated '18, currently in Turkey), who plays in the Turkish BSL was not able to help Sakarya Buyuksehir Basketbol (5-13) in their game last Saturday. Despite his good performance Sakarya Buyuksehir Basketbol was defeated 87-83 in Istanbul by the much higher-ranked Acibadem (#5). Etou was the second best scorer with 13 points. He also added 9 rebounds and 3 assists in 30 minutes. It's Etou's first season with the team. Etou has relatively good stats this year 10.9ppg, 7.8rpg and 1.6apg.

   #4. Shaquille Harrison (6'4''-G-93, graduated '16, plays pro in the NBA) led Chicago Bulls to a victory against the Atlanta Hawks (22-44) 168-161 in the NBA on Friday night. He scored 13 points. The Chicago Bulls have not so impressive 19-48 record this season. It's Harrison's first year with the team. This year Harrison averages 5.3ppg, 2.6rpg, 1.7apg and 1.1spg in 58 games.

   #5. James Woodard (6'3''-G-94, graduated '16, plays in North Macedonia) was not able to secure a victory for MZT Skopje (14-7) in their game against Sutjeska (12-9) in the ABA League. Despite his very good performance in Wednesday night's game He was the second best scorer with 17 points in 36 minutes. Woodard's team will play only one more game in the ABA League Regular Season. And that game will be critical. It's Woodard's first season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Woodard averages 15.4ppg, 4.4rpg, 2.4apg and 1.9spg.

   #6. Guilherme Teichmann (6'9''-PF-83, graduated '05, plays pro in Brazil) couldn't help Corinthians in their game against Paschoalotto/Bauru in the Brazilian NBB. Teichmann cannot count it as his best performance. He scored only 2 points in 7 minutes on the court. His team was defeated 92-81. This season Teichmann averages 5.3ppg, 4.2rpg and 2.0apg.

   #7. Brandon Swannegan (6'9''-F-93, graduated '16, plays in Mexico) couldn't help Abejas de Leon in their game against Capitanes in the Mexican LNBP (second division). He cannot count Friday's game as one of the best ones. Swannegan scored only 3 points. His team was crushed by 27 points 92-65. This year he averages 6.9ppg and 3.3rpg in 14 games.
