Best performed former Univ. of California-Santa Barbara players in pro basketball in last week games

We bring you last week's top former Gauchos players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. James Nunnally (6'7''-G-90, graduated '12, plays pro in Italy) could not help AX Armani Exchange Milano (13-12) in their last game. Despite his good performance AX Armani Exchange Milano lost 95-101 on the road to the second-ranked CSKA. Nunnally recorded 13 points and added 4 assists (made all of his five free throws) in 26 minutes. It was AX Armani Exchange Milano's first loss after five consecutive victories. Nunnally has relatively good stats this year 14.2ppg, 3.0rpg and 2.8apg in five games he played so far.

   #2. Orlando Johnson (6'5''-G/F-89, graduated '12, plays in Taiwan) led Pauian to a victory over the closely-ranked KKL (17-13) 77-73 in the Taiwanese SBL on Friday night. Johnson was MVP of the game. He recorded a double-double by scoring 26 points and getting 18 rebounds. Johnson also added 4 assists and 6 steals. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Pauian (15-14) is placed fourth in the SBL. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. Johnson has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 21.7ppg, 9.3rpg, 3.1apg and 1.5spg.

   #3. Marcus Jackson (6'4''-G-94, graduated '18, currently in Cyprus) contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider i (5-14) 79-63 in the Cypriot Division A in Saturday night's game. He recorded 12 points, 6 assists and 3 steals in 37 minutes. AEL Limassolis placed second in the Division A. This year Jackson averages 6.5ppg, 2.2rpg and 1.8apg in 19 games.

   #4. Experienced Ivan Elliott (6'8''-F-86, graduated '08, plays pro in Germany) was not able to help Chemnitz in their game against Nuernberg (15-11) in the German ProA (second division). Despite his very good performance on Friday night Elliott recorded 15 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Elliott has relatively good stats this season 10.1ppg, 4.8rpg and 1.8apg.

   #5. Jalen Canty (6'8''-F-95, graduated '18, plays in Germany) contributed to a VfL Kirchheim Knights' victory against the closely-ranked Schalke (9-16) 81-76 in the German ProA (second division) on Sunday night. Canty scored 12 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 27 minutes. VfL Kirchheim Knights (12-14) is placed 11th in the ProA. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. It's Canty's first season with the team. This year he averages 4.7ppg and 3.3rpg in 24 games.

   #6. Gabe Vincent (6'3''-G-96, graduated '18, currently in the NBA G League) was not able to secure a victory for the Stockton Kings in their game against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers in the NBA G League. He scored 5 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. His team were defeated 117-112 in the NBA G League. This season Vincent averages 8.4ppg, 2.2rpg and 2.4apg.

   #7. Alex Hart (6'11''-F-95, graduated '18, plays pro in Switzerland) couldn't help Pully in their game against Swiss Central in the Swiss SBL. He scored only 4 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 28 minutes. His team lost 76-86. This year Hart averages 8.8ppg, 9.6rpg and 1.1apg in 18 games. He has also Swiss citizenship.

   #8. Alex Harris (6'5''-G-86, played in 2004-08, plays in Israel) couldn't help Ramat Gan in their game against Afula in the Israeli National League (second division). Harris scored 6 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. His team was crushed by 27 points 92-65. This season he has very high stats. Harris averages 18.9ppg, 5.6rpg, 2.1apg and 1.1spg.
