We bring you last week's top former Red Storm players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Dwight Hardy (6'2''-SG-87, graduated '11, plays pro in France) could not help Limoges CSP Elite (12-9) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Limoges CSP Elite was crushed 86-65 on the road by the higher-ranked (#3) JSF Nanterre. Hardy was the top scorer with 21 points. He also added 4 steals in 26 minutes. Hardy has relatively good stats this year 12.5ppg, 1.5rpg, 2.8apg and 1.1spg in 21 games he played so far. He is a naturalized Congolese.

   #2. Maurice Harkless (6'8''-G/F-93, graduated '12, plays in the NBA) was not able to help the Portland Trail Blazers (39-26) in their last game on Tuesday. Despite his very good performance the Portland Trail Blazers (39-26) were defeated 120-111 in Memphis by the Grizzlies. Harkless recorded 20 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. It's Harkless' fourth season with the team. This year he averages 6.9ppg, 4.3rpg and 1.1spg. Harkless is a naturalized Puerto Rican.

   #3. Experienced Lamont Hamilton (6'10''-C/F-84, graduated '07, currently in Japan) led Niigata Albirex to a victory against the third-ranked Diamond Dolphins (23-20) 106-100 in the Japanese B League on Sunday night. Hamilton had a double-double by scoring 20 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 2 blocks in 42 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group Central. Niigata Albirex (31-13) is placed first. It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. It's Hamilton's first season with the team. Hamilton has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 16.8ppg, 9.3rpg, 2.0apg and 1.6bpg in 39 games.

   #4. JaKarr Sampson (6'9''-F-93, graduated '14, plays pro in the NBA G League) was not able to secure a victory for the Windy City Bulls (23-20) in their last game on Thursday. Despite his very good performance the Windy City Bulls were defeated 127-118 in Westchester by the Knicks. Sampson was the top scorer with 28 points. He also added 8 rebounds and made 2 blocks. This season Sampson has very high stats. He averages 21.0ppg, 8.3rpg, 1.9apg and 1.1bpg.

   #5. Sean Evans (6'8''-PF-88, graduated '11, currently in Greece) contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider Kolossos HH (2-14) 78-60 in the Greek A1 on Saturday night. Evans scored 12 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Ifestos Limnou (9-8) is placed seventh in the A1. Evans has relatively good stats this season 12.9ppg, 8.9rpg, 1.1apg and 1.4spg.

   #6. Marcus LoVett Jr. (6'0''-G-96, graduated '18, plays pro in Serbia) couldn't help Sloboda Uzice (11-13) in their last game. Despite LoVett Jr.'s very good performance Sloboda Uzice was edged 94-92 at home by the lower-ranked (#13) Spartak. He scored 17 points and added 7 passes in 29 minutes. LoVett Jr. has very impressive stats this year 21.4ppg, 3.3rpg, 4.5apg and 1.3spg in 17 games.

   #7. Sir'Dominic Pointer (6'6''-G/F-92, graduated '15, plays in the NBA G League) couldn't help the Canton Charge (17-25) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Pointer's very good performance the Canton Charge (#4) was defeated 117-106 in Austin by the Spurs. He scored 19 points, had 6 rebounds and made 2 blocks. This season Pointer averages 9.7ppg, 4.6rpg, 2.0apg, 1.3bpg and 1.8spg.

   #8. Richard Freudenberg (6'9''-F-98, graduated '18, currently in Germany), who plays in the German BBL couldn't help Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt (7-12) in their last game. Despite his good performance Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt lost 86-99 in Berlin to the much higher-ranked (#4) ALBA. Freudenberg recorded 12 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 21 minutes. This year Freudenberg averages 6.4ppg and 1.8rpg in 17 games.

   #9. D'Angelo Harrison (6'4''-G-93, graduated '15, plays pro in Russia) couldn't help Enisey in their game against Lokomotiv in the VTB United League. Despite his good performance in Saturday night's game He recorded a double-double by scoring 11 points and getting the same number of rebounds. Harrison also added 3 assists. Harrison has relatively good stats this season 14.1ppg, 5.6rpg, 3.3apg and 1.4spg.

   #10. Orlando Sanchez (6'9''-SF-88, graduated '14, plays in Lebanon) contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider Sagesse crushing them 103-78 in the Lebanese LBL last Sunday. Sanchez scored 15 points, grabbed 6 boards, handed out 6 passes and blocked 2 shots in 33 minutes. Sanchez has relatively good stats this year 10.6ppg, 7.6rpg, 1.8apg and 1.4bpg in five games. He has also Dominican Rep. citizenship.
