Top University of Wisconsin alumni playing currently pro basketball

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Badgers alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Frank Kaminsky (7'0''-F-93, graduated '15, plays pro in the NBA) could not help the Charlotte Hornets (30-35) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the Charlotte Hornets (30-35) lost 84-91 on the road to the Miami Heat. Kaminsky was the second best scorer with 20 points in 23 minutes. It's Kaminsky's fourth season with the team. This year he averages 6.7ppg and 3.1rpg in 29 games he played so far.

   #2. Nigel Hayes (6'8''-F-94, graduated '17, plays in Turkey) was not able to help Galatasaray in their game against Pinar Karsiyaka (8-10) in the Turkish BSL. Hayes recorded 9 points and added 4 assists. But Galatasaray was edged 78-75 in Karsiyaka by the lower-ranked Pinar (#9). Hayes has relatively good stats this season 12.8ppg, 5.6rpg, 2.1apg and 1.2spg.

   #3. Experienced Marcus Landry (6'7''-F-85, graduated '09, currently in South Korea) led KT Sonicboom to a victory over the league outsider Samsung Thunders (11-39) crushing them 100-71 in the South Korean KBL on Saturday night. Landry was MVP of the game. He scored 18 points, had 6 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 21 minutes. KT Sonicboom (26-23) is placed third in the KBL. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. It's Landry's first season with the team. Landry has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 22.0ppg, 8.1rpg, 2.9apg and 1.1bpg in 48 games.

   #4. Ryan Evans (6'8''-F-90, graduated '13, plays pro in Denmark) was not able to secure a victory for Bakken (20-2) in their last game on Friday. Despite his good performance the first-placed Bakken (20-2) was defeated 86-75 in Horsens by the second-ranked Horsens IC in the ProA group. Evans recorded 11 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Evans' first season with the team. This year he has very high stats. Evans averages 15.4ppg, 5.9rpg, 2.8apg and 1.1spg.

   #5. Sam Dekker (6'9''-F-94, graduated '15, plays in the NBA) contributed to a Washington Wizards' victory against the Minnesota Timberwolves (30-35) 135-121 in the NBA last Sunday. Dekker scored 11 points and added 3 assists in a mere 15 minutes. The Washington Wizards have 27-38 record this season. This year Dekker averages 6.4ppg and 3.2rpg in 30 games.

   #6. Jordan Taylor (6'2''-PG-89, graduated '12, currently in France) couldn't help Limoges CSP Elite in their game against JSF Nanterre in the French Jeep ELITE ProA. He was the second best scorer with 8 points. His team was crushed by 21 points 86-65. This season Taylor averages 8.7ppg, 2.0rpg, 4.9apg and 1.3spg.

   #7. Vitto Brown (6'8''-F-95, graduated '17, plays pro in the NBA G League) helped Maine Red Claws win their game against the Delaware Blue Coats crushing them 124-102 in the NBA G League in Friday night's game. Brown scored 11 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 23 minutes. Brown has relatively good stats this year 11.1ppg, 5.1rpg and 1.1apg in 41 games.

   #8. Devin Harris (6'3''-PG-83, graduated '04, plays in the NBA) couldn't help the Dallas Mavericks in their game against the Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA. He cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. Harris recorded only 3 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. His team were crushed by 30 points 111-81 in the NBA. This season Harris averages 6.1ppg, 1.5rpg and 1.4apg.

   #9. Traevon Jackson (6'4''-G, graduated '15, currently in Slovakia) couldn't help Zilina in their game against Iskra Svit in the Slovakian SBL. He scored 9 points and added 4 passes in 26 minutes. His team lost 73-87. Jackson has relatively good stats this year 10.4ppg, 3.9rpg, 2.9apg and 1.6spg in 27 games.

   #10. Duje Dukan (6'10''-F-91, graduated '15, plays pro in the NBA G League) couldn't help the Capital City Go-Go in their game against the Delaware Blue Coats in the NBA G League. Despite his very good performance in Friday night's game Dukan scored 14 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. This season Dukan averages 9.2ppg and 3.8rpg. He is a naturalized Croatian.
