Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top former Bulldogs players who continue their career in pro basketball.


   #1. Paul George (6'9''-G/F-90, graduated '10, plays pro in the NBA) was the major contributor in an Oklahoma City Thunder's victory against the Portland Trail Blazers (39-26) 129-121 in the NBA on Thursday night. He recorded a double-double by scoring 32 points and getting 14 rebounds. George also added 6 assists and 3 steals in 43 minutes. The Oklahoma City Thunder has a solid 40-26 record this season. George has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 28.6ppg, 8.1rpg, 4.2apg and 2.3spg.

   #2. Tyler Johnson (6'4''-G-92, graduated '14, plays in the NBA) led Phoenix Suns to a victory against the New York Knicks (13-52) 107-96 in the NBA in Wednesday night's game. Johnson scored 14 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 6 assists. The Phoenix Suns have rather weak 15-51 record this season. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Johnson has relatively good stats this year 10.5ppg, 3.7rpg, 4.0apg and 1.4spg in 10 games he played so far.

   #3. Alex Davis (6'9''-F-92, graduated '15, currently in Czech Republic) contributed to an easy victory against the third-ranked BK Usti nad Labem (16-10) crushing them 96-60 in the Czech Republic NBL last Wednesday. He recorded 8 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists in 17 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group Places 1-8. CEZ Basketball Nymburk (27-0) is placed first. So far his team won all games in the Second Stage. This season Davis averages 8.5ppg, 4.6rpg and 1.2apg.

   #4. Experienced Quinton Hosley (6'7''-F-84, graduated '07, plays pro in Poland). Hosley could not help one of league's weakest teams Stelmet Enea BC Zielona Gora (18-4) to beat Asseco Arka (18-3) in the Polish EBL. He scored 8 points, had 6 rebounds and dished 3 assists. Stelmet Enea BC Zielona Gora lost 65-78 on the road to the leading Asseco Arka. It was Stelmet Enea BC Zielona Gora's first loss after ten consecutive victories. Hosley has relatively good stats this year 10.5ppg, 5.5rpg and 2.5apg in two games. He is a naturalized Georgian.

   #5. Dominic McGuire (6'9''-PF-85, graduated '07, plays in Mexico) contributed to a 2-point Aaguacateros' victory against the second-ranked Soles (26-13) 82-80 in the Mexican LNBP (second division) in Thursday night's game. He recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting 13 rebounds. McGuire also added 5 assists and 4 blocks in 37 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group South. Aaguacateros Michoacan (23-16) is placed third. This season McGuire averages 9.9ppg, 8.1rpg and 4.6apg.

   #6. Marvelle Harris (6'5''-PG-93, graduated '16, currently in Lebanon), who plays in the Lebanese LBL was not able to help Al Moutahed Tripoli (3-8) in their last game. Despite Harris' very good performance Al Moutahed Tripoli lost 66-71 in Beirut to the second-ranked Homentmen. He was the top scorer with 23 points. Harris also added 5 rebounds. Harris has very impressive stats this year 26.7ppg, 4.7rpg, 2.4apg and 3.2spg in 11 games.

   #7. Jaron Hopkins (6'6''-G-94, graduated '18, plays pro in Finland) was not able to secure a victory for Lapuan Korikobrat (11-20) in their game last Friday. Despite Hopkins' very good performance Lapuan Korikobrat was badly defeated 106-89 in Tampere by the higher-ranked en Pyrinto (#3). He was the second best scorer with 21 points. Hopkins also added 8 rebounds and 4 assists in 29 minutes. This season Hopkins has very high stats. He averages 16.6ppg, 6.3rpg, 2.3apg and 2.0spg.

   #8. Cullen Russo (6'9''-F-94, graduated '17, plays in Japan) couldn't help Aomori Watts (12-33) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the sixth-placed Aomori Watts lost 78-85 on the opponent's court to the higher-ranked (#4) Fukushima in the East group. Russo had a double-double by scoring 17 points and getting 15 rebounds. He also added 3 assists and 3 blocks. Russo has very impressive stats this year 21.9ppg, 10.7rpg, 4.3apg, 1.4bpg and 2.5spg in 42 games.

   #9. Hector Hernandez (6'9''-PF-85, graduated '08, currently in Mexico) contributed to an easy victory against the fourth-ranked Abejas crushing them 92-65 in the Mexican LNBP (second division) last Friday. Hernandez scored 10 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 20 minutes. Hernandez has relatively good stats this season 11.4ppg, 5.7rpg and 1.7apg.

   #10. Paul Watson (6'6''-G/F-94, graduated '17, plays pro in the NBA G League) contributed to a Westchester Knicks' victory against the Windy City Bulls 127-118 in the NBA G League on Thursday night. He scored 12 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. This year Watson averages 7.8ppg and 4.8rpg in 44 games.
