Top University of Missouri alumni playing currently pro basketball

We bring you last week's top former Tigers players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Marcus Denmon (6'3''-G-90, graduated '12, plays pro in China) led Zhejiang Chouzhou to a victory over the closely-ranked Sharks (22-22) crushing them 131-101 in the Chinese CBA on Friday night. He was MVP of the game. Denmon recorded a double-double by scoring 51 points and making 10 passes. He also added 7 rebounds and 5 steals (went 11 for 11 at the free throw line !!!) in 47 minutes. Zhejiang Chouzhou (22-22) is placed tenth in the CBA. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Denmon has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 33.3ppg, 7.3rpg, 6.3apg and 1.9spg.

   #2. Ricardo Ratliffe (6'8''-F-89, graduated '12, plays in South Korea) was the main contributor in a Mobis Phoebus' victory against the closely-ranked LG Sakers (26-23) 95-80 in the South Korean KBL in Wednesday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Ratliffe had a double-double by scoring 31 points and getting 15 rebounds. He also added 3 assists (made all of his seven free throws). It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Hyundai Mobis Phoebus (38-11) are placed first in the KBL. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. It's Ratliffe's first season with the team. Ratliffe has very impressive stats this year 24.3ppg, 14.2rpg, 2.9apg and 1.6bpg in 45 games he played so far. He is a naturalized South Korean.

   #3. Experienced Rickey Paulding (6'5''-F/G-82, graduated '04, currently in Germany) was the major contributor in a 3-point EWE Baskets Oldenburg's victory against the 16th-ranked Science City Jena (5-16) 83-80 in the German BBL last Sunday. He recorded 20 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 35 minutes. EWE Baskets Oldenburg (17-4) is placed second in the BBL. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. It's Paulding's 12th season with the team. Paulding has relatively good stats this year 13.3ppg, 4.2rpg and 1.8apg.

   #4. DeMarre Carroll (6'8''-F-86, graduated '09, plays pro in the NBA) contributed to an easy victory against the Dallas Mavericks (27-38) crushing them 127-88 in the NBA on Monday night. Carroll was MVP of the game. He scored 22 points, had 5 rebounds and dished 4 assists. The Brooklyn Nets have 34-33 record this season. Carroll has very impressive stats this year 11.1ppg, 5.3rpg and 1.4apg in 54 games.

   #5. Kassius Robertson (6'3''-G-94, graduated '18, plays in Germany) contributed to an easy victory against the 16th-ranked Science City Jena (5-16) crushing them 103-78 in the German BBL in Friday night's game. He recorded 18 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists in 33 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Robertson's first season in pro basketball. medi Bayreuth (11-10) is placed sixth in the BBL. Robertson has relatively good stats this season 11.6ppg, 2.3rpg and 2.8apg.

   #6. Jordan Clarkson (6'5''-G-92, graduated '14, currently in the NBA), who plays in the NBA could not help the Cleveland Cavaliers (16-50) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the Cleveland Cavaliers were badly defeated 126-110 on the road by the Miami Heat. Clarkson was the second best scorer with 21 points. Clarkson has very impressive stats this year 16.9ppg, 3.5rpg and 2.4apg in 64 games. He is a naturalized Filipino.

   #7. Leo Lyons (6'9''-F-87, graduated '09, plays pro in Japan) was not able to help Toyama Grouses (21-21) in their game last Saturday. Despite his very good performance the fourth-placed Toyama Grouses were defeated 86-78 in Tokyo by the higher-ranked Toyota Alvark (#3) in the Central group. Lyons was the second best scorer with 22 points. He also added 8 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 33 minutes. This season Lyons has very high stats. He averages 22.8ppg, 9.3rpg, 3.0apg and 1.1spg.

   #8. Phil Pressey (5'11''-PG-91, graduated '13, plays in Turkey) was not able to secure a victory for Besiktas in their game against JSF Nanterre in the Basketball Champions League. He recorded only 4 points and added 6 assists. His team lost 59-68. This year Pressey averages 6.2ppg, 1.8rpg, 4.4apg and 1.6spg in 14 games.

   #9. Jordan Barnett (6'7''-F-95, graduated '18, currently in the NBA G League) contributed to a Fort Wayne Mad Ants' victory against the Lakeland Magic 110-98 in the NBA G League last Friday. Barnett scored 13 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 21 minutes. This season Barnett averages 5.0ppg and 4.5rpg.

   #10. Kevin Young (6'9''-C-84, graduated '06, plays pro in Uruguay) helped Bigua win their game against the third-ranked Goes 92-82 in a derby game in the Uruguayan LUB on Saturday night. He recorded 6 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. This year Young averages 7.5ppg, 4.5rpg and 2.0apg in two games.
