We bring you last week's top former Runnin'Rebels players who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Matthew Shaw (6'8''-F/C-88, graduated '10, plays pro in Uruguay) could not help Hebraica (1-1) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the second-placed Hebraica (1-1) was badly defeated 92-76 in a derby game by the lower-ranked (#3) Goes in the Places 7-10 group. Shaw had a double-double by scoring 26 points and getting 11 rebounds in 36 minutes. There are only four games left until the end of the Second Stage. So now every game will be critical. Shaw has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 21.5ppg, 9.0rpg and 1.5apg in two games he played so far.

#2. Experienced Michael Umeh (6'2''-PG-84, graduated '07, plays in Poland) led Polski Cukier Torun to a victory against the tenth-ranked Legia (10-11) 94-80 in the Polish EBL on Friday night. He scored 14 points. Polski Cukier Torun (17-4) is placed third in the EBL. Umeh has relatively good stats this season 13.9ppg, 2.6rpg and 2.9apg. He is a naturalized Nigerian.

#3. Derrick Jones Jr. (6'7''-F-97, graduated '16, currently in the NBA) was the major contributor in a Miami Heat's victory against the Brooklyn Nets (34-33) crushing them 117-88 in the NBA in Saturday night's game. He recorded 18 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 26 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Jones Jr.'s third season in pro basketball. The Miami Heat has 31-34 record this season. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. Jones Jr. has relatively good stats this year 7.2ppg and 4.2rpg in 44 games.

#4. Christian Jones (6'7''-F-93, graduated '17, plays pro in Ukraine) was not able to help one of league's weakest teams Khimik (18-8) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his good performance Khimik was edged 76-75 at home by the leading Dnipro. Jones recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting 10 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws). There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. It's Jones' first season with the team. This year he has very high stats. Jones averages 16.3ppg, 6.3rpg, 2.6apg and 1.3spg.

#5. Jovan Mooring (6'2''-G-94, graduated '18, plays in the NBA G League) was not able to secure a victory for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants (20-24) in their game against the Long Island Nets (30-14) in the NBA G League, despite his very good performance last Wednesday. He was the top scorer with 28 points. Mooring also added 7 assists in 29 minutes; not bad, considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. But the Fort Wayne Mad Ants (#3) lost 123-128 on the road to the Long Island Nets. It was Mad Ants' seventh consecutive loss in a row. Mooring has relatively good stats this year 13.8ppg, 2.2rpg and 4.6apg in five games. Mooring is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

#6. Stephen Zimmerman (7'0''-F-96, graduated '16, currently in the NBA G League) led Westchester Knicks to a victory over the Wisconsin Herd crushing them 123-95 in the NBA G League in Saturday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Zimmerman scored 23 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. This season Zimmerman averages 8.2ppg, 6.6rpg and 1.6apg.

#7. Rashad Vaughn (6'6''-SG-96, graduated '15, plays pro in the NBA G League) was the main contributor in a Delaware Blue Coats' victory against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants 112-99 in the NBA G League last Monday. He was MVP of the game. Vaughn scored 20 points, grabbed 8 boards, passed 4 assists and added 3 steals (was perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line) in 29 minutes. Vaughn has very impressive stats this year 18.5ppg, 4.0rpg, 3.2apg and 1.1spg in 19 games.

#8. Joel Anthony (6'9''-C-82, graduated '07, plays in Argentina) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Regatas Corrientes 103-85 in the Argentinian La Liga on Friday night. He scored 7 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. This season Anthony averages 6.7ppg and 5.1rpg.

#9. Quintrell Thomas (6'8''-PF-90, graduated '13, currently in Israel) couldn't help Maccabi Hod Hasharon in their game against Netanya in the Israeli National League (second division), despite his very good performance on Tuesday night. He had a double-double by scoring 26 points and getting 12 rebounds. Thomas also added 3 assists in 34 minutes. But his team was crushed by 27 points 104-77. Thomas has very impressive stats this year 23.4ppg, 12.5rpg and 1.4bpg in 22 games. He is a naturalized Jamaican.
