We bring you last week's top former Huskies players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Andre Drummond (6'10''-C-93, graduated '12, plays pro in the NBA) led Detroit Pistons to a victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves (30-35) 131-114 in the NBA in Wednesday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Drummond had a double-double by scoring 31 points and getting 15 rebounds. He also added 3 assists and 2 blocks in 39 minutes. The Detroit Pistons have 32-31 record this season. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. It's Drummond's seventh year with the team. Drummond has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 17.6ppg, 15.1rpg, 1.2apg, 1.8bpg and 1.7spg in 60 games he played so far.

   #2. Kemba Walker (6'1''-PG-90, graduated '11, plays in the NBA) was the main contributor in a Charlotte Hornets' victory against the Brooklyn Nets (34-33) 123-112 in the NBA last Friday. Walker was MVP of the game. He scored 25 points, had 4 boards, passed 7 assists and added 4 steals. The Charlotte Hornets have 29-35 record this season. It's Walker's eighth year with the team. This year Walker has very high stats. He averages 25.0ppg, 4.2rpg, 5.8apg and 1.3spg.

   #3. Experienced Rudy Gay (6'8''-F/G-86, graduated '06, currently in the NBA) was the major contributor in a San Antonio Spurs' victory against the Oklahoma City Thunder (40-25) 116-102 in the NBA on Saturday night. Gay recorded 22 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 26 minutes. The San Antonio Spurs have 37-29 record this season. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. Gay has very impressive stats this year 14.2ppg, 6.5rpg and 2.6apg in 55 games.

   #4. Jeremy Lamb (6'5''-SG-92, graduated '12, plays pro in the NBA) is a teammate of previously mentioned Kemba Walker. But that was another game of his team in NBA which we would like to mention. Lamb could not help the Charlotte Hornets (29-35) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his very good performance the Charlotte Hornets (29-35) were defeated 118-108 on the road by the Portland Trail Blazers. Lamb was the top scorer with 23 points. He also added 5 rebounds. It's Lamb's fourth season with the team. This year Lamb has very high stats. He averages 15.2ppg, 5.5rpg and 2.1apg.

   #5. Niels Giffey (6'7''-G/F-91, graduated '14, plays in Germany) was not able to help ALBA Berlin (5-1) in their last game. Despite Giffey's good performance the first-placed ALBA Berlin (5-1) was edged 91-90 in Malaga by the second-ranked Unicaja in the group E of Eurocup. He was the second best scorer with 13 points in a mere 18 minutes. It's Giffey's fifth season with the team. Giffey has relatively good stats this year 11.6ppg, 2.7rpg and 1.5apg in 17 games.

   #6. Ryan Boatright (6'0''-PG-92, graduated '15, currently in Spain) was not able to secure a victory for Unicaja Malaga in their game against Baskonia in the Spanish Liga Endesa. He scored 9 points and added 4 assists. His team was badly defeated by 17 points 112-95. This season Boatright averages 8.5ppg and 3.7apg. He is a naturalized Armenian.

   #7. Gavin Edwards (6'9''-F/C-88, graduated '10, plays pro in Japan) contributed to an easy victory against the fifth-ranked Fukuoka Rizing crushing them 87-64 in the Japanese B League in Sunday night's game. He scored 13 points, had 8 boards, dished 9 assists and stole 3 balls in 29 minutes. Edwards has relatively good stats this year 13.2ppg, 7.9rpg and 3.3apg in 41 games.

   #8. Jeff Adrien (6'7''-F-86, graduated '09, plays in Israel) couldn't help Bnei Hertzeliya (4-16) in their last game on Thursday. Despite Adrien's very good performance the bottom-ranked Bnei Hertzeliya was edged 90-89 in Rosh Pina by the higher-ranked Galil Gilboa (#7). He recorded a double-double by scoring 25 points and getting 12 rebounds. Adrien also added 4 assists. He has relatively good stats this season 12.5ppg, 7.7rpg and 1.5apg.

   #9. Lasan Kromah (6'6''-G-91, graduated '14, currently in France) contributed to an easy victory against the second-ranked Chorale de Roanne crushing them 104-78 in the French ProB (second division) on Tuesday night. He was MVP of the game. Kromah scored 28 points (!!!) and added 5 passes in 36 minutes. He has very impressive stats this year 16.2ppg, 4.5rpg, 2.9apg and 1.1spg in 13 games. Kromah is a naturalized Liberian.

   #10. Hilton Armstrong (6'11''-C-84, graduated '06, plays pro in Japan) couldn't help Nagoya Diamond Dolphins (22-20) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Armstrong's very good performance the third-placed Nagoya Diamond Dolphins were defeated 106-100 in Niigata by the leading Albirex in the West group. He scored 16 points, had 9 boards, handed out 3 passes and blocked 3 shots. Armstrong has relatively good stats this season 14.0ppg, 10.4rpg, 2.2apg and 2.0bpg.
