Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top former Wolfpack players who continue their career in pro basketball.


   #1. Lorenzo Brown (6'5''-G-90, graduated '13, plays pro in China) was the major contributor in a Guangzhou Long-Lions' surprising victory against the third-ranked Leopards (33-11) crushing them 117-97 in the Chinese CBA on Sunday night. He recorded 28 points (!!!), 9 rebounds, 5 assists and made 2 blocks in 37 minutes. Guangzhou Long-Lions (23-21) are placed ninth in the CBA. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Brown has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 24.4ppg, 5.2rpg, 5.2apg and 2.8spg.

   #2. Experienced Courtney Fells (6'6''-F/G-86, graduated '09, plays in Argentina) led Quimsa to a victory over the 11th-ranked Comunicaciones (9-10) crushing them 86-57 in the Argentinian La Liga in Wednesday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Fells had a double-double by scoring 16 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 6 assists. Quimsa Santiago del Esterois placed in the La Liga. This year Fells averages 9.6ppg, 4.3rpg, 1.9apg and 1.1spg in 16 games he played so far.

   #3. Dennis Smith Jr. (6'3''-G-97, graduated '17, currently in the NBA), who plays in the NBA could not help the New York Knicks (13-52) in their game last Monday. Despite Smith Jr.'s very good performance the New York Knicks (13-52) were defeated 115-108 on the road by the Sacramento Kings. He was the second best scorer with 18 points. Smith Jr. also added made 5 passes and 3 steals in 29 minutes. This season Smith Jr. has very high stats. He averages 15.1ppg, 2.6rpg, 6.4apg and 1.6spg.

   #4. Anthony Barber (6'2''-PG-94, graduated '16, plays pro in the NBA G League) was the main contributor in a Erie Bay Hawks' victory against the Austin Spurs (17-25) 129-115 in the NBA G League on Tuesday night. Barber was MVP of the game. He had a double-double by scoring 29 points and making 12 passes. Barber also added 7 rebounds and 3 steals (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!); quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. The Erie Bay Hawks have 19-23 record this season. Barber has very impressive stats this year 20.4ppg, 4.8rpg, 9.6apg and 1.8spg in five games.

   #5. Thomas De Thaey (6'8''-F-91, graduated '13, plays in Portugal) contributed to an easy victory against the tenth-ranked Illiabum (7-13) crushing them 94-66 in the Portuguese LPB in Tuesday night's game. He was MVP of the game. De Thaey scored 25 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 30 minutes. U.D. Oliveirense (19-1) is placed first in the LPB. It was his team's 11th consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. This season De Thaey has very high stats. He averages 16.0ppg, 8.3rpg and 1.5apg.

   #6. Trevor Lacey (6'2''-SG-91, graduated '16, currently in Russia) contributed to Lokomotiv's victory against the leader Unics Kazan 68-59 in the Eurocup last Friday. Lacey scored 10 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 4 assists. This year Lacey averages 5.9ppg, 2.0rpg and 2.3apg in 15 games.

   #7. Abdul-Malik Abu (6'8''-F-95, graduated '18, plays pro in Croatia) contributed to a KK Vrijednosnice Osijek's victory against the league outsider Bosco 71-66 in the Croatian Premijer Liga on Saturday night. Abu scored 7 points, had 13 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 30 minutes. Abu has relatively good stats this season 14.5ppg, 9.5rpg and 1.7apg.

   #8. Scott Wood (6'6''-SF-90, graduated '13, plays in France) helped BCM Gravelines Dunkerque Grand Littoral win their game against the 16th-ranked Olympique Antibes 88-71 in the French Jeep ELITE ProA in Friday night's game. He scored 10 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. This year Wood averages 8.5ppg, 3.1rpg and 1.7apg in 21 games.

   #9. Brandon Costner (6'9''-F-87, graduated '09, currently in Japan) helped Yokohama BC win their game against the third-ranked Aishin Sea Horses 93-83 in the Japanese B League last Sunday. Costner scored 22 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 6 assists in 35 minutes. This season Costner has very high stats. He averages 21.3ppg, 7.7rpg and 4.5apg.

   #10. Richard Howell (6'8''-C/F-90, graduated '13, plays pro in Israel) helped Hapoel SP Tel-Aviv win their game against the closely-ranked Ironi Nes-Ziona 89-85 in the Israeli Winner League on Thursday night. He recorded 11 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Howell has relatively good stats this year 14.4ppg, 7.5rpg and 3.3apg in 12 games. He is a naturalized Israeli.
