Best performed former University of Georgia players in pro basketball in last week games

Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top former Bulldogs players who continue their career in pro basketball.


   #1. Dustin Ware (6'0''-PG-90, graduated '12, plays pro in Hungary) could not help ZTE KK (11-9) in their last game. Despite his very good performance ZTE KK lost 85-96 at home to the lower-ranked (#11) Kaposvari. Ware was the top scorer with 26 points. He also added 4 boards, dished 5 assists and stole 4 balls in 39 minutes. It's Ware's first season with the team. Ware has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 17.5ppg, 2.7rpg, 5.9apg and 1.7spg in 20 games he played so far.

   #2. Nemanja Djurisic (6'8''-PF-92, graduated '15, plays in Belgium) was not able to help Oostende in their last game on Tuesday. Despite his very good performance Oostende was edged 66-66 on the road by the higher-ranked Groningen (#3). Djurisic recorded 15 points, 6 rebounds. It was his first game for Oostende this season.

   #3. Gerald Robinson (6'1''-PG-89, graduated '12, currently in France) led AS Monaco Basket to an easy victory against the 15th-ranked Cholet Basket (7-14) crushing them 88-67 in the French Jeep ELITE ProA in Monday night's game. Robinson scored 11 points in 22 minutes. AS Monaco Basket (11-6) is placed fourth in the Jeep ELITE ProA. Robinson has relatively good stats this year 12.0ppg, 4.0rpg, 4.6apg and 1.8spg in nine games.

   #4. Travis Leslie (6'4''-G-90, graduated '11, plays pro in France) led Boulazac Basket Dordogne to a victory against the sixth-ranked Chalon/Saor (13-9) 80-75 in the French Jeep ELITE ProA last Tuesday. Leslie scored 11 points, had 7 rebounds and dished 3 assists. Boulazac Basket Dordogne (11-10) is placed tenth in the Jeep ELITE ProA. Leslie has relatively good stats this season 11.4ppg, 6.2rpg, 2.2apg and 1.1spg.

   #5. Kenny Gaines (6'3''-G-94, graduated '16, plays in Lithuania) led Juventus to a victory over the closely-ranked Lietkabelis (14-9) 89-74 in the Lithuanian LKL on Sunday night. Gaines was MVP of the game. He scored 19 points and added 7 assists in a mere 19 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Gaines' third season in pro basketball. Juventus-LKSK Utenos (9-15) is placed sixth in the LKL. It was his team's first victory after four consecutive loses. Gaines has relatively good stats this year 11.4ppg, 1.8rpg, 2.2apg and 1.3spg in 10 games.

   #6. Terrance Woodbury (6'7''-G-87, graduated '09, currently in Japan) was the main contributor in a Kagawa FA's victory against the leader Shinshu BW 82-65 in the Japanese B2 League in Saturday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Woodbury scored 34 points (!!!), grabbed 5 boards, dished 6 assists and stole 3 balls. This season Woodbury has very high stats. He averages 24.3ppg, 8.5rpg, 4.9apg and 1.5spg. Woodbury is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

   #7. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (6'5''-G-93, graduated '13, plays pro in the NBA) was not able to secure a victory for the Los Angeles Lakers in their game against the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA. He scored 7 points in 23 minutes. His team lost 120-131 in the NBA. Caldwell-Pope has relatively good stats this year 9.5ppg, 2.6rpg and 1.1apg in 65 games.

   #8. Juwan Parker (6'4''-G-94, graduated '18, plays in Germany) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Lions crushing them 96-64 in the German ProA (second division) on Sunday night. He was MVP of the game. Parker scored 24 points and grabbed 9 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). This season Parker averages 7.0ppg and 2.2rpg.

   #9. John Florveus (6'11''-C-90, graduated '13, currently in Slovakia), who plays in the Slovakian SBL couldn't help Nova Ves (9-6) in their last game. Despite Florveus' very good performance Nova Ves lost 88-96 on the opponent's court to the one of league's weakest teams (#8) Zilina. He scored 15 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 23 minutes. Florveus has relatively good stats this year 12.8ppg, 8.3rpg, 1.1apg and 1.4bpg in 18 games. He is a naturalized Haitian.
