Best performed former Wright State University players in pro basketball in last week games

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Raiders alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Joe Thomasson (6'4''-G-93, graduated '16, plays pro in Poland) was the major contributor in a TBV Start Lublin's victory against the closely-ranked GTK (7-13) 102-91 in the Polish EBL last Saturday. He scored 18 points and added 9 passes in 33 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Thomasson's third season in pro basketball. TBV Start Lublin (10-10) is placed tenth in the EBL. It's Thomasson's first year with the team. He has individually a very good season with high stats. Thomasson averages 18.7ppg, 3.8rpg, 5.2apg and 1.6spg in 12 games he played so far.

   #2. Steven Davis (6'8''-F-93, graduated '17, plays in Slovakia) led his Slovakian team Levice to a victory against the leader KK Skrljevo (4-2) 82-76 in the Alpe Adria Cup on Monday night. Davis recorded 12 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. It was the game of the round between two top 2 ranked teams in group A. BK Levicki Patrioti (4-2) is placed second. Davis has relatively good stats this season 12.7ppg, 5.8rpg and 1.9apg.

   #3. Todd Brown (6'5''-F-87, graduated '10, currently in Argentina), who plays in the Argentinian La Liga could not help one of league's weakest teams Penarol (9-5) to beat Ferro (14-6). Brown scored 8 points in 17 minutes. Penarol was crushed 88-66 at home by the second-ranked Ferro. Brown has relatively good stats this year 13.6ppg, 3.6rpg, 2.0apg and 1.2spg in 11 games.

   #4. Justin Mitchell (6'5''-G-95, graduated '18, plays pro in Switzerland) was not able to help Starwings (4-13) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Mitchell's good performance Starwings was defeated 85-70 on their home court in Basel by the leading Fribourg. He was the second best scorer with 11 points. Mitchell also added made 4 passes and 3 steals (was perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line). There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Mitchell's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 12.8ppg, 6.1rpg, 4.6apg and 2.3spg.

   #5. Jerran Young (6'6''-G-91, graduated '14, plays in Singapore) was not able to secure a victory for Jobstreet.com Singapore Slingers (13-8) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Jobstreet.com Singapore Slingers lost 70-80 on the road to the leading SM Beermen. Young was the second best scorer with 19 points. He also added 4 rebounds in a mere 18 minutes. It was Jobstreet.com Singapore Slingers' first loss after four consecutive victories. It's Young's first season with the team. Young has very impressive stats this year 18.7ppg, 7.2rpg, 4.1apg, 1.1bpg and 2.6spg in 21 games.
