Best performed former The University of Washington players in pro basketball in last week games

We bring you last week's top former Huskies players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Terrence Ross (6'7''-G-91, graduated '12, plays pro in the NBA) led Orlando Magic to a victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves (26-30) 122-112 in the NBA last Thursday. He was MVP of the game. Ross scored 32 points (!!!) and grabbed 5 rebounds in 31 minutes. The Orlando Magic has 25-32 record this season. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Ross has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 14.7ppg, 3.4rpg and 1.5apg in 57 games he played so far.

   #2. Tony Wroten (6'6''-G-93, graduated '12, plays in Latvia) was the main contributor in Kalev/Cramo's victory against the closely-ranked BK Ogre (14-8) crushing them 118-92 in the Latvian LatEstBL on Wednesday night. Wroten was MVP of the game. He recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and making 15 passes. Wroten also added 4 rebounds. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. BC Kalev/Cramo Tallinn (19-2) is placed third in the LatEstBL. It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. It's Wroten's first season with the team. This year he averages 7.6ppg, 2.8rpg, 9.3apg and 1.5spg.

   #3. Justin Holiday (6'6''-SG-89, graduated '11, currently in the NBA) contributed to a 2-point Memphis Grizzlies' victory against the Minnesota Timberwolves (26-30) 108-106 in the NBA in Tuesday night's game. He scored 17 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 39 minutes. The Memphis Grizzlies have 23-34 record this season. Holiday has relatively good stats this year 8.4ppg, 3.8rpg and 1.7apg in 19 games.

   #4. Malik Dime (6'9''-F/C-92, graduated '17, plays pro in Bulgaria) could not help Rilski (9-6) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his very good performance Rilski was edged 95-93 at home by the leading Levski Lukoil. Dime recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and getting 12 rebounds. He also added 2 blocks and 3 steals. Dime's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. It's Dime's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 12.7ppg, 8.5rpg and 3.7bpg. Dime is a naturalized Senegalese.

   #5. Marquese Chriss (6'9''-F-97, graduated '16, plays in the NBA) contributed to a 3-point Cleveland Cavaliers' victory against the New York Knicks (10-46) 107-104 in the NBA on Monday night. Chriss scored 14 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 22 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. The Cleveland Cavaliers have not so impressive 12-45 record this season. It was his team's first victory after four consecutive loses. Chriss has relatively good stats this year 10.0ppg and 5.5rpg in two games.

   #6. Andrew Andrews (6'2''-G-93, graduated '16, currently in Latvia) contributed to a VEF Riga's victory against the eighth-ranked Kalev/Cramo 85-75 in the VTB United League in Monday night's game. He scored 13 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. This season Andrews averages 8.8ppg, 2.8rpg and 3.3apg.

   #7. Matthew Bryan-Amaning (6'9''-F-88, graduated '11, plays pro in United Kingdom) helped London CR win their game against the tenth-ranked Bristol Acadamy Flyers 91-83 in the British BBL last Thursday. Bryan-Amaning was MVP of the game. He had a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 13 rebounds. Bryan-Amaning also added 3 blocks in 26 minutes. Bryan-Amaning has very impressive stats this year 18.9ppg, 7.6rpg, 2.3apg, 1.1bpg and 1.3spg in 15 games. He has also British citizenship.

   #8. Quincy Pondexter (6'6''-F-88, graduated '10, plays in the NBA) was not able to help the San Antonio Spurs in their game against the Golden State Warriors in the NBA. Pondexter recorded 6 points and added 3 passes. His team were crushed by 39 points 141-102 in the NBA. This season Pondexter averages 2.1ppg and 1.1rpg.

   #9. Abdul Gaddy (6'4''-G-92, graduated '13, currently in the NBA G League), who plays in the NBA G League was not able to secure a victory for the Oklahoma City Blue (25-12) in their last game. Despite his good performance the Oklahoma City Blue was edged 111-109 on the road by the Austin Spurs. Gaddy recorded 12 points and added 5 passes in 31 minutes. Gaddy has relatively good stats this year 10.1ppg, 3.0rpg, 7.3apg and 1.1spg in 36 games.

   #10. Experienced Joe Wolfinger (7'1''-C-85, played in 2005-09, plays pro in Japan) was the major contributor in a Tokyo Cinq Reves' victory against the league leader Tokyo Excellence 88-81 in a derby game in the Japanese B League D3 last Monday. He recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and getting 12 rebounds. Wolfinger also added and 3 steals (made all of his five free throws). Wolfinger has relatively good stats this season 15.0ppg, 10.9rpg and 1.6apg.
