Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top former Fighting Illini players who continue their career in pro basketball.

#1. Leron Black (6'7''-F-96, graduated '18, plays pro in Argentina) could not help Argentino (3-12) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the bottom-ranked Argentino was crushed 98-75 on the road by the much higher-ranked (#13) Olimpico de La Banda. Black had a double-double by scoring 19 points and getting 12 rebounds in 28 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. It was Argentino's fourth consecutive loss in a row. It's Black's first year with the team. Black has relatively good stats this season 14.9ppg and 6.7rpg in 14 games he played so far.

#2. Jaylon Tate (6'3''-PG-95, graduated '17, plays in Finland) was not able to help one of league's weakest teams Pyrinto Tampere (16-10) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Tate's very good performance Pyrinto Tampere was defeated 86-79 on the opponent's court by the second-ranked Kauhajoki. He was the second best scorer with 16 points. Tate also added 7 passes. It's Tate's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 14.9ppg, 2.4rpg and 5.1apg.

#3. Maverick Morgan (6'10''-C-94, graduated '17, currently in Poland) was not able to secure a victory for GTK Gliwice (7-12) in their game against Polpharma (10-9) in the Polish EBL. He recorded 6 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 20 minutes. GTK Gliwice was badly defeated 96-80 in Starogard Gdanski by the higher-ranked (#7) Polpharma. This year Morgan averages 8.1ppg and 4.3rpg in 11 games.

#4. Mark Alstork (6'5''-G-95, graduated '18, plays pro in Luxembourg) was the major contributor in Residence's victory against the eighth-ranked Soleuvre (0-1) 109-90 in the Luxembourg Total League in Saturday night's game. He recorded 27 points (!!!), 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals; not bad, considering it's only Alstork's first season in pro basketball. Residence Walferdange (1-0) is placed fourth in Places 7-14 group. It was his team's first victory after nine consecutive loses. There are only four games left until the end of the Second Stage. So now every game will be critical. Alstork has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 23.9ppg, 9.4rpg, 2.3apg and 1.7spg. Worth to mention Alstork played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

#5. Meyers Leonard (7'1''-C-92, graduated '12, plays in the NBA) couldn't help the Portland Trail Blazers (33-23) in their game against the Miami Heat (25-30) in the NBA. He scored 7 points, had 6 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 24 minutes. The Portland Trail Blazers (33-23) lost 108-118 in Miami to the Heat. It's Leonard's seventh season with the team. This year Leonard averages 6.1ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.3apg in 50 games.

#6. Matic Vesel (6'9''-F-98, graduated '18, currently in Slovenia), who plays in the Slovenian 2SKL (second division) couldn't help LTH Castings (7-10) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his good performance LTH Castings was crushed 102-76 on the opponent's court by the leading Celje. Vesel scored 10 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and dished 3 assists. He has relatively good stats this season 12.7ppg, 7.1rpg, 2.1apg and 1.1spg.

#7. Rodney Alexander (6'7''-F-87, graduated '08, plays pro in Israel) couldn't help Elitzur Kiryat Ata in their game against Elitzur Yavne in the Israeli National League (second division), despite his very good performance in Tuesday night's game. Alexander was the second best scorer with 15 points. He also added 9 rebounds in 27 minutes. But his team was edged 86-83. Alexander has relatively good stats this year 12.7ppg, 7.1rpg, 2.1apg and 1.1spg in 17 games.

#8. Demetri McCamey (6'3''-G-89, graduated '11, plays in the NBA G League) managed to help Austin Spurs to win against the Delaware Blue Coats 119-108 in the NBA G League last Tuesday. McCamey recorded only 4 points. This season he averages 5.5ppg, 1.5rpg and 1.7apg.

#9. Mike Davis (6'9''-F-88, graduated '11, currently in the NBA G League) couldn't help the Capital City Go-Go in their game against the Windy City Bulls in the NBA G League, despite his good performance in Tuesday night's game. Davis recorded 10 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in only 12 minutes. But his team lost 109-121 in the NBA G League. This year he averages 3.5ppg and 2.8rpg in 13 games.

#10. Nnanna Egwu (6'11''-F/C-92, graduated '15, plays pro in Malaysia) couldn't help one of league's weakest teams Westports MD in their game against Macau in the D2. Egwu scored 5 points, had 9 rebounds and made 2 blocks. His team was defeated 97-86. This season he averages 3.5ppg and 2.8rpg. Egwu is a naturalized Nigerian.
