Top Bucknell University alumni playing currently pro basketball

We bring you last week's top former Bisons players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Zach Thomas (6'7''-F-96, graduated '18, plays pro in Belgium) could not help Crelan Okapi Aalstar (7-9) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Crelan Okapi Aalstar was crushed 104-74 on the road by the league outsider (#10) Antwerp Giants. Thomas was the second best scorer with 15 points. He also added 9 rebounds in 28 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Thomas' first season in pro basketball. It was Crelan Okapi Aalstar's first loss after four consecutive victories. It's Thomas' first year with the team. He has individually a very good season with high stats. Thomas averages 15.2ppg, 5.9rpg and 1.1spg in 16 games he played so far.

   #2. Stephen Brown (5'11''-PG-96, graduated '18, plays in Russia) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Spartak Primorie Vladivostok (12-11) 88-71 in the Russian Superleague 1 (second division) last Monday. Brown recorded 6 points and had 3 steals. Ural Ekaterinburg (13-10) is placed fifth in the Superleague 1. This season Brown averages 3.0ppg, 1.5rpg, 1.5apg and 2.5spg.

   #3. Cameron Ayers (6'5''-G-91, graduated '14, currently in Italy) was the major contributor in a Pall. Trapani's victory against the 12th-ranked Mens Sana 1871 (10-11) 96-82 in the Italian Serie A2 (second division) on Sunday night. Ayers scored 22 points in 31 minutes. Pallacanestro Trapani (10-11) is placed 11th in West group. It was his team's first victory after three consecutive loses. Ayers has relatively good stats this year 13.0ppg, 3.1rpg and 1.2apg in 21 games.

   #4. Mike Muscala (6'11''-F/C-91, graduated '13, plays pro in the NBA) was not able to help the Los Angeles Lakers in their game against the Philadelphia 76ers (36-20) in the NBA. Muscala scored 8 points. The Los Angeles Lakers (28-28) were crushed 143-120 in Philadelphia by the 76ers. This season Muscala has very high stats. He averages 13.0ppg, 3.1rpg and 1.2apg.

   #5. Brian Fitzpatrick (6'8''-F-89, graduated '14, plays in Sweden) contributed to a Boras Basket's victory against the 11th-ranked Uppsala Basket (1-13) 103-95 in the Swedish Basketligan last Friday. Fitzpatrick recorded 10 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 27 minutes. Boras Basket (21-8) is placed fourth in the Basketligan. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. It's Fitzpatrick's first season with the team. This year he averages 8.6ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.4apg in 19 games. Fitzpatrick is a naturalized Irish.
