Best performed former Ohio State University players in pro basketball in last week games

We bring you last week's top former Buckeyes players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Amedeo Della Valle (6'4''-SG-93, graduated '14, plays pro in Italy) led AX Armani Exchange Milano to an easy victory against the 13th-ranked VL Pesaro (6-13) crushing them 111-74 in the Italian Serie A last Sunday. He recorded 17 points and added 9 assists in 24 minutes. AX Armani Exchange Milano (16-3) is placed first in the Serie A. This year Della Valle averages 9.1ppg, 1.5rpg and 1.5apg in 16 games he played so far.

   #2. DeShaun Thomas (6'7''-PF-91, graduated '13, plays in Greece) led Panathinaikos to a victory over the tenth-ranked Lavrio (4-12) crushing them 80-55 in the Greek A1 on Monday night. He was MVP of the game. Thomas recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and getting 11 rebounds. Panathinaikos Superfoods Athens (15-0) is placed first in the A1. So far his team won all fifteen games in the Regular Season. It's Thomas' first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 12.0ppg, 5.1rpg and 1.4apg.

   #3. D'Angelo Russell (6'5''-SG-96, graduated '15, currently in the NBA), who plays in the NBA could not help the Brooklyn Nets (29-29) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the Brooklyn Nets (29-29) were edged 127-125 on the road by the Toronto Raptors. Russell had a double-double by scoring 28 points and making 14 passes. He also added 7 rebounds in 34 minutes. Russell has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 19.8ppg, 3.7rpg, 6.5apg and 1.1spg in 56 games.

   #4. Mike Conley (6'1''-PG-87, graduated '07, plays pro in the NBA) was the main contributor in a 2-point Memphis Grizzlies' victory against the Minnesota Timberwolves (26-30) 108-106 in the NBA last Tuesday. Conley was MVP of the game. He scored 25 points, made 9 passes and 3 steals. The Memphis Grizzlies have 23-34 record this season. It's Conley's 12th year with the team. This year Conley has very high stats. He averages 20.1ppg, 3.5rpg, 6.4apg and 1.4spg.

   #5. Aaron Craft (6'2''-PG-91, graduated '14, plays in Italy) contributed to a Dolomiti En. TR's surprising victory against the second-ranked Umana Venezia (13-6) 81-77 in the Italian Serie A on Sunday night. Craft was MVP of the game. He had a double-double by scoring 22 points and getting 12 rebounds. Craft also added 4 assists in 38 minutes. Dolomiti Energia Trento (9-10) is placed 11th in the Serie A. Craft has relatively good stats this year 11.5ppg, 4.6rpg, 5.1apg and 1.9spg in 14 games.

   #6. Daequan Cook (6'5''-G/F-87, graduated '07, currently in Israel) helped his Israeli team Ironi Hai Motors Nes-Ziona win their game against the closely-ranked Alba 96-80 in the FIBA Europe Cup in Wednesday night's game. Cook was MVP of the game. He scored 25 points. This season Cook has very high stats. He averages 19.2ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.4apg.

   #7. David Lighty (6'6''-G/F-88, graduated '11, plays pro in France) was the major contributor in an ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket's victory against the 13th-ranked Boulazac Basket 78-73 in the French Jeep ELITE last Friday. He scored 14 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 40 minutes. Lighty has relatively good stats this year 10.1ppg, 3.7rpg, 2.5apg and 1.1spg in 20 games.

   #8. Experienced Othello Hunter (6'8''-C-86, graduated '08, plays in Russia) managed to help CSKA Moscow to win against the closely-ranked Real Madrid 82-78 in the Euroleague on Friday night. Hunter recorded only 4 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. This season Hunter averages 8.1ppg and 4.5rpg. He is a naturalized Liberian.

   #9. Jae'Sean Tate (6'4''-F-95, graduated '18, currently in Belgium), who plays in Belgium was not able to help Telenet Giants Antwerp (6-8) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the fourth-placed Telenet Giants Antwerp was edged 77-76 in Athens by the leading AEK in the group C of Basketball Champions League. Tate was the second best scorer with 17 points. He also added 6 rebounds in 24 minutes. Tate has relatively good stats this year 13.4ppg, 5.9rpg and 1.9apg in 18 games.

   #10. Kamerom Williams (6'2''-G-94, graduated '18, plays pro in Uruguay) was not able to secure a victory for Sayago (3-23) in their last game on Thursday. Despite Williams' very good performance Sayago was defeated 100-85 at home by the second-ranked Nacional. He was the top scorer with 25 points. This season Williams has very high stats. He averages 17.9ppg, 3.4rpg and 2.4apg.
