We bring you last week's top former Sooners players who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Amath M'Baye (6'9''-F-89, graduated '13, plays pro in Italy) led his Italian team Virtus Bologna to a victory over the fourth-ranked Promitheas (8-6) 98-91 in the Basketball Champions League in Wednesday night's game. He was MVP of the game. M'Baye had a double-double by scoring 20 points and getting 10 rebounds in 30 minutes. Virtus Segafredo Bologna (10-4) is placed first in group D. His team will play only one more game in the Basketball Champions League Regular Season. And that game will be critical. It's M'Baye's first season with the team. M'Baye has relatively good stats this year 11.5ppg, 3.9rpg, 1.5apg and 1.1spg in 14 games he played so far. He has also French passport.

#2. Blake Griffin (6'10''-F-89, graduated '09, plays in the NBA) was the major contributor in a Detroit Pistons' victory against the Washington Wizards (24-33) 121-112 in the NBA last Monday. Griffin scored 31 points (!!!), had 9 rebounds and dished 9 assists. The Detroit Pistons have 26-29 record this season. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. Griffin has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 26.1ppg, 8.1rpg and 5.3apg.

#3. Tashawn Thomas (6'8''-F-93, graduated '15, currently in Israel) contributed to a 2-point Hapoel Jerusalem's victory against the sixth-ranked JDA Dijon (5-9) 85-83 in the Basketball Champions League on Wednesday night. Thomas scored 14 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 28 minutes. Hapoel Jerusalem (12-2) is placed second in group C. It was his team's ninth consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Basketball Champions League Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. It's Thomas' first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 12.2ppg, 5.9rpg, 2.4apg and 1.4bpg in 11 games.

#4. Buddy Hield (6'4''-G-93, graduated '16, plays pro in the NBA) was the main contributor in a Sacramento Kings' victory against the Miami Heat (25-30) 102-96 in the NBA in Friday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Hield scored 23 points, had 7 rebounds and made 2 blocks; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. The Sacramento Kings have 30-26 record this season. This year Hield has very high stats. He averages 20.4ppg, 5.1rpg and 2.3apg.

#5. Trae Young (6'2''-G-98, graduated '18, plays in the NBA) could not help the Atlanta Hawks (18-38) in their last game. Despite Young's very good performance the Atlanta Hawks (18-38) lost 120-129 on the road to the Charlotte Hornets. He had a double-double by scoring 20 points and making 11 passes in 28 minutes; not bad, considering it's only Young's first season in pro basketball. It was Hawks' third consecutive loss in a row. Young has very impressive stats this year 16.8ppg, 3.3rpg and 7.4apg in 56 games.

#6. Cameron Clark (6'7''-F/G-91, graduated '14, currently in France) contributed to a Le Mans Sarthe Basket's victory against the league outsider Levallois 80-69 in the French Jeep ELITE on Saturday night. He scored 14 points and grabbed 5 rebounds (was perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line). Clark has relatively good stats this season 12.8ppg, 2.9rpg and 1.1spg.

#7. Tony Crocker (6'7''-F/G-87, graduated '10, plays pro in Russia) was not able to help Khimki (12-4) in their last game. Despite Crocker's good performance Khimki was edged 84-82 at home by the lower-ranked (#4) Lokomotiv. He recorded 10 points in 22 minutes. Crocker has relatively good stats this year 13.2ppg, 3.3rpg, 2.1apg and 1.1spg in 12 games.

#8. Andrew Fitzgerald (6'8''-C/F-90, graduated '13, plays in Japan) was not able to secure a victory for Ehime Orange Vikings (16-23) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Fitzgerald's very good performance the fourth-placed Ehime Orange Vikings were badly defeated 93-74 in Nagano by the leading Shinshu BW in the West group. He was the top scorer with 21 points. Fitzgerald also added 9 rebounds, passed 3 assists and added 2 blocks (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). This season Fitzgerald has very high stats. He averages 27.3ppg, 11.9rpg and 2.7apg.

#9. Steven Pledger (6'4''-G-90, graduated '13, currently in Mexico) helped Correcaminos UAT Victoria win their game against the seventh-ranked Huracanes 121-113 in the Mexican LNBP (second division) on Thursday night. He scored 20 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 30 minutes. Pledger has relatively good stats this year 14.2ppg and 3.6rpg in five games.

#10. Experienced Jason Detrick (6'5''-SF-80, graduated '04, plays pro in Austria) couldn't help BC Hallmann Vienna (11-12) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Detrick's very good performance BC Hallmann Vienna was edged 81-79 in Kapfenberg by the second-ranked Bulls. He was the top scorer with 26 points.
