Top University of Wisconsin alumni playing currently pro basketball

Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top former Badgers players who continue their career in pro basketball.


   #1. Jordan Taylor (6'2''-PG-89, graduated '12, plays pro in France) could not help Limoges CSP Elite (1-5) in their last game. Despite his good performance the fourth-placed Limoges CSP Elite (1-5) lost 84-91 on the road to the leading Valencia Basket in the group G of Eurocup. Taylor had a double-double by scoring 13 points and making the same number of passes. He also added 5 rebounds and 3 steals (went 5 for 5 at the free throw line) in 26 minutes. The Top 16 already ended in the Eurocup. It's Taylor's first season with the team. This year Taylor averages 10.0ppg, 1.9rpg, 6.8apg and 1.4spg in eight games he played so far.

   #2. Ryan Evans (6'8''-F-90, graduated '13, plays in Denmark) led Bakken to a victory over the third-ranked Svendborg (12-7) 87-78 in the Danish BasketLigaen last Sunday. Evans was MVP of the game. He recorded 15 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and made 2 blocks. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group ProA. Bakken Bears (18-1) is placed first. It was his team's seventh consecutive victory in a row. Evans has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 15.6ppg, 6.2rpg, 2.9apg and 1.1spg.

   #3. Sam Dekker (6'9''-F-94, graduated '15, currently in the NBA) was not able to help the Washington Wizards in their game against the Milwaukee Bucks (42-14) in the NBA, despite his good performance last Wednesday. He recorded 12 points in 21 minutes. But the Washington Wizards (24-33) were badly defeated 148-129 in Milwaukee by the Bucks. It's Dekker's first season with the team. This year Dekker averages 6.6ppg and 3.3rpg in 26 games.

   #4. Experienced Marcus Landry (6'7''-F-85, graduated '09, plays pro in South Korea) was not able to secure a victory for KT Sonicboom (23-19) in their game against LG Sakers (22-20) in the South Korean KBL. Despite his very good performance on Wednesday night He recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting the same number of rebounds. Landry also added 4 assists and 5 blocks. This season Landry has very high stats. He averages 21.7ppg, 7.9rpg, 3.0apg and 1.2bpg.

   #5. Devin Harris (6'3''-PG-83, graduated '04, plays in the NBA) couldn't help the Dallas Mavericks (26-30) in their game against the Houston Rockets (33-23) in the NBA. He scored 8 points in only 14 minutes. The Dallas Mavericks (26-30) were badly defeated 120-104 in Houston by the Rockets. This year Harris averages 6.3ppg, 1.5rpg and 1.4apg in 42 games.

   #6. Jared Berggren (6'10''-C-90, graduated '13, currently in Switzerland) couldn't help Neuchatel in their game against Geneve Lions in the Swiss SBL. Despite his good performance on Saturday night He was the top scorer with 11 points. Berggren also added 5 rebounds. This season Berggren averages 9.8ppg, 5.0rpg, 1.1apg and 1.5bpg.

   #7. Vitto Brown (6'8''-F-95, graduated '17, plays pro in the NBA G League) couldn't help the Maine Red Claws in their game against the Raptors 905 Missisauga in the NBA G League. Brown recorded 9 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 36 minutes. His team lost 112-121 in the NBA G League. Brown has relatively good stats this year 11.4ppg and 5.3rpg in 33 games.

   #8. Mike Bruesewitz (6'7''-F-90, graduated '13, plays in Russia) couldn't help Enisey in their game against Kalev/Cramo in the VTB United League. He recorded 6 points. It was his first game for Enisey this season. His team was badly defeated by 18 points 109-91.

   #9. Traevon Jackson (6'4''-G, graduated '15, currently in Slovakia) couldn't help Zilina in their game against Prievidza in the Slovakian SBL. He recorded 9 points and had 4 steals in 22 minutes. His team lost 71-85. Jackson has relatively good stats this year 10.7ppg, 4.0rpg, 2.8apg and 1.7spg in 25 games.

   #10. Duje Dukan (6'10''-F-91, graduated '15, plays pro in the NBA G League) couldn't help the Capital City Go-Go in their game against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants in the NBA G League. Despite his very good performance in Thursday night's game Dukan scored 16 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Dukan has relatively good stats this season 10.5ppg and 3.9rpg. He is a naturalized Croatian.
