We bring you last week's top former Bruins players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Zach LaVine (6'5''-G-95, graduated '14, plays pro in the NBA) could not help the Chicago Bulls (13-44) in their game last Wednesday. Despite his very good performance the Chicago Bulls (13-44) were defeated 125-120 on the road by the New Orleans Pelicans. LaVine was the second best scorer with 28 points. He also added 8 rebounds, 7 assists and made 2 blocks in 33 minutes. LaVine has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 23.1ppg, 4.4rpg and 4.3apg.

   #2. Jrue Holiday (6'4''-PG-90, graduated '09, plays in the NBA) was the major contributor in a New Orleans Pelicans' victory against the Minnesota Timberwolves (26-30) 122-117 in the NBA in Friday night's game. Holiday scored 27 points (!!!), had 4 boards, dished 9 assists and stole 3 balls (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!). The New Orleans Pelicans have 25-32 record this season. It's Holiday's sixth year with the team. He has very impressive stats this year 20.9ppg, 5.1rpg, 8.0apg and 1.6spg in 57 games he played so far.

   #3. Russell Westbrook (6'3''-PG-88, graduated '08, currently in the NBA) led Oklahoma City Thunder to a victory against the Portland Trail Blazers (33-23) 120-111 in the NBA last Monday. Westbrook recorded a triple-double by scoring 21 points, grabbing 14 rebounds and passing 11 assists in 37 minutes. The Oklahoma City Thunder has a solid 37-19 record this season. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. It's Westbrook's 11th year with the team. This season he has very high stats. Westbrook averages 21.2ppg, 11.1rpg, 11.2apg and 2.3spg.

   #4. Experienced Trevor Ariza (6'8''-F-85, graduated '04, plays pro in the NBA) was not able to help the Washington Wizards (24-33) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the Washington Wizards (24-33) lost 112-121 in Detroit to the Pistons. Ariza scored 23 points, had 7 rebounds and dished 5 assists. It's Ariza's first season with the team. He has very impressive stats this year 14.9ppg, 5.4rpg, 4.2apg and 1.6spg in 26 games.

   #5. Darren Collison (6'0''-PG-87, graduated '09, plays in the NBA) led Indiana Pacers to a 2-point victory over the New Orleans Pelicans (25-32) 109-107 in the NBA in Monday night's game. Collison was MVP of the game. He scored 22 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 6 assists in 35 minutes. The Indiana Pacers have a solid 38-19 record this season. It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. Collison has relatively good stats this season 10.4ppg, 2.8rpg, 5.8apg and 1.5spg.

   #6. JR Sakuragi (6'9''-C-76, graduated '98, currently in Japan) contributed to a 1-point SeaHorses Mikawa's victory against the fifth-ranked Akita Happinets 95-94 in the Japanese B League last Monday. He recorded 20 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. Sakuragi has relatively good stats this year 12.7ppg, 7.4rpg and 5.2apg in 39 games. He is a naturalized Japanese.

   #7. Aaron Holiday (6'1''-G-96, graduated '18, plays pro in the NBA) is a teammate of previously mentioned Darren Collison. But that was another game of his team in NBA which we would like to mention. Holiday contributed to an easy victory against the Los Angeles Lakers crushing them 136-94. He scored 17 points and added 3 assists in 23 minutes. This season Holiday averages 5.5ppg, 1.5rpg and 1.5apg.

   #8. Kevin Love (6'10''-PF-88, graduated '08, plays in the NBA) contributed to a 3-point Cleveland Cavaliers' victory against the New York Knicks 107-104 in the NBA in Monday night's game. He scored 14 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Love has very impressive stats this year 16.0ppg, 11.0rpg and 3.0apg in five games.

   #9. Lazeric Jones (6'0''-PG-90, graduated '12, currently in France), who plays in France was not able to secure a victory for AS Monaco Basket (2-4) in their game last Wednesday. Despite his good performance the third-placed AS Monaco Basket was crushed 90-68 in Vilnius by the second-ranked Rytas in the group E of Eurocup. Jones scored 11 points and added 5 passes in 36 minutes. This season Jones averages 7.7ppg, 1.3rpg and 3.9apg.

   #10. Michael Roll (6'6''-SG-87, graduated '10, plays pro in Israel) contributed to a 1-point Maccabi T-A's victory against the sixth-ranked Olympiacos 65-64 in the Euroleague on Thursday night. Roll recorded 9 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. This year Roll averages 9.3ppg, 2.1rpg and 2.9apg in 21 games. He is a naturalized Tunisian.
