Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top former Spartans players who continue their career in pro basketball.


   #1. Raymar Morgan (6'8''-F/C-88, graduated '10, plays pro in Russia) led his Russian team Unics Kazan to a 3-point victory over the league leader CSKA (16-2) 71-68 in the VTB United League in Monday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Morgan had a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 10 rebounds in 33 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Unics Kazan (13-3) is placed second in the VTB United League. There are only four games left until the end of the VTB United League Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Morgan's first season with the team. This year he averages 7.7ppg, 5.0rpg and 1.6apg in seven games he played so far.

   #2. Jaren Jackson Jr. (6'11''-F-99, graduated '18, plays in the NBA) could not help the Memphis Grizzlies (23-34) in their last game on Thursday. Despite his very good performance the Memphis Grizzlies (23-34) were crushed 117-95 on the road by the Oklahoma City Thunder. Jackson Jr. was the top scorer with 27 points. He also added 7 rebounds. Jackson Jr. has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 13.9ppg, 4.8rpg, 1.2apg and 1.4bpg.

   #3. Kalin Lucas (6'1''-PG-89, graduated '11, currently in the NBA G League) led Grand Rapids Drive to a victory over the Windy City Bulls (19-17) crushing them 113-92 in the NBA G League on Saturday night. Lucas was MVP of the game. He scored 35 points (!!!) and grabbed 7 rebounds in 33 minutes. The Grand Rapids Drive has 17-18 record this season. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. Lucas has very impressive stats this year 20.3ppg, 4.8rpg and 5.0apg in six games.

   #4. Branden Dawson (6'6''-F-93, graduated '15, plays pro in Mexico) was the major contributor in a Soles de Mexicali's victory against the third-ranked Aaguacateros (19-15) 80-76 in the Mexican LNBP (second division) in Sunday night's game. He scored 18 points, had 7 rebounds, passed 3 assists and added 2 blocks. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group South. Soles de Mexicaliis placed first. This season Dawson has very high stats. He averages 15.2ppg, 7.9rpg, 2.5apg, 1.9bpg and 1.6spg.

   #5. Deyonta Davis (6'10''-PF-96, graduated '16, plays in the NBA G League) was the main contributor in a Santa Cruz Warriors' victory against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants (18-17) 114-104 in the NBA G League last Sunday. He was MVP of the game. Davis had a double-double by scoring 26 points and getting 13 rebounds. He also added 3 blocks in 34 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Davis' third season in pro basketball. It was the game of the round between two top 2 ranked teams in group W Pacific. The Santa Cruz Warriors have a solid 26-10 record this season. It's Davis' first year with the team. This year he averages 8.8ppg, 7.1rpg, 1.2apg and 1.2bpg in 36 games.

   #6. Travis Trice II (6'0''-PG-93, graduated '15, currently in the NBA G League) contributed to an Austin Spurs' victory against the Delaware Blue Coats 119-108 in the NBA G League on Tuesday night. Trice II recorded 21 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals. This season he has very high stats. Trice II averages 16.4ppg, 4.1rpg, 7.1apg and 1.2spg.

   #7. Draymond Green (6'7''-F-90, graduated '12, plays pro in the NBA) contributed to a Golden State Warriors' victory against the Phoenix Suns 117-107 in the NBA in Friday night's game. He scored 13 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 26 minutes. This year Green averages 7.0ppg, 7.6rpg, 7.4apg and 1.6spg in 40 games.

   #8. Bryn Forbes (6'3''-G-93, graduated '16, plays in the NBA) was not able to help the San Antonio Spurs (32-26) in their last game on Monday. Despite his good performance the San Antonio Spurs were defeated 127-112 in Sacramento by the Kings. Forbes scored 12 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. This season he has very high stats. Forbes averages 12.1ppg, 2.9rpg and 2.1apg.

   #9. Russell Byrd (6'7''-G-92, graduated '14, currently in Qatar) helped Al Sadd win their game against the closely-ranked Al Shamal 95-78 in a derby game in the Qatari D1 on Monday night. He was MVP of the game. Byrd scored 37 points (!!!), grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 38 minutes. He has relatively good stats this year 11.0ppg, 6.0rpg, 1.7apg and 2.7spg in three games.

   #10. Eron Harris (6'3''-G-93, graduated '17, plays pro in Finland) helped Pyrinto Tampere edge the eighth-ranked Helsinki Seagulls 86-85 in the Finnish Korisliiga in Wednesday night's game. Harris recorded 16 points. He has relatively good stats this season 12.7ppg, 2.8rpg and 1.5apg. Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.
