Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top former Chippewas players who continue their career in pro basketball.


   #1. Experienced Giordan Watson (5'10''-PG-85, graduated '08, plays pro in Romania) could not help Oradea (12-5) in their game last Sunday. Despite his very good performance the second-placed Oradea (12-5) was edged 73-71 on the road by the second-ranked Cluj Napoca in the Group Red. Watson was the second best scorer with 19 points. He also added 6 passes in 33 minutes. Watson has relatively good stats this season 12.3ppg, 2.9rpg and 4.6apg. He is a naturalized Romanian.

   #2. Rayshawn Simmons (6'4''-G-93, graduated '16, plays in Germany) was the major contributor in a Team Ehingen Urspring's victory against one of league's weakest teams White Wings (6-16) 88-71 in the German ProA (second division) in Saturday night's game. He had a double-double by scoring 17 points and making 13 passes. Simmons also added 6 rebounds; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. Team Ehingen Urspring (13-9) is placed fifth in the ProA. Simmons has relatively good stats this year 12.9ppg, 3.6rpg and 9.5apg in 21 games he played so far.

   #3. Andre Coimbra (6'9''-PF-86, graduated '12, currently in Brazil) was not able to help Sao Jose in their game against Pinheiros (16-3) in the Brazilian NBB. Coimbra scored only 4 points in 16 minutes. Sao Jose was badly defeated 83-67 at home by the leading Pinheiros. This season Coimbra averages 4.7ppg and 3.1rpg.

   #4. Luke Meyer (6'10''-F, graduated '18, plays pro in FYR Macedonia) led Feni Industries to a victory against the closely-ranked Vardar (10-1) 80-70 in the FYR Macedonian Prva Liga on Saturday night. He scored 11 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. KK Feni Industries (9-5) is placed fourth in the Prva Liga. It's Meyer's first season with the team. Meyer has relatively good stats this year 12.6ppg, 8.5rpg and 1.5bpg in 13 games.

   #5. Marko Spica (6'9''-C-86, graduated '10, plays in Hungary) contributed to Kaposvari's victory against the closely-ranked Atomeromu (8-11) 88-77 in the Hungarian A Division in Saturday night's game. Spica recorded 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in 27 minutes. Kaposvari KK (7-12) is placed 12th in the A Division. Spica has relatively good stats this season 11.9ppg, 4.5rpg and 2.5apg. He has also Hungarian passport.

   #6. Marcus Van (6'7''-F/C-87, graduated '09, currently in Spain) contributed to Albacete's victory against the sixth-ranked Azuqueca 78-74 in the Spanish LEB Silver (third division) last Saturday. Van had a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting 11 rebounds. He also added 2 blocks. Van has relatively good stats this year 10.5ppg, 9.3rpg and 1.1apg in 21 games.

   #7. Kyle Randall (6'1''-PG-91, graduated '13, plays pro in the NBA G League) managed to help Delaware Blue Coats to win against the Long Island Nets 109-107 in the NBA G League on Thursday night. Randall scored only 2 points in 14 minutes. This season Randall averages 4.2ppg, 1.4rpg and 2.3apg.

   #8. Braylon Rayson (5'9''-PG-94, graduated '17, plays in Canada) led Sudbury Five to a 1-point victory over the Kitchener-Waterloo Titans 116-115 in the NBL Canada in Thursday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Rayson recorded 22 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. This year Rayson averages 4.2ppg, 1.4rpg and 2.3apg in 21 games.

   #9. Marcus Keene (5'11''-PG-95, graduated '17, currently in the NBA G League) contributed to an easy victory against the Northern Arizona Suns crushing them 118-89 in the NBA G League last Friday. He recorded 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in 22 minutes. This season Keene averages 8.3ppg, 2.3rpg and 2.9apg.
