Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top former Zips players who continue their career in pro basketball.


   #1. Demetrius Treadwell (6'7''-F-91, graduated '15, plays pro in France) managed to help JSF Nanterre to win against the fifth-ranked Hapoel Holon (7-7) 74-62 in the Basketball Champions League on Tuesday night. He scored 5 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 26 minutes. JSF Nanterre (8-6) is placed third in group B. There are only two games left until the end of the Basketball Champions League Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This season Treadwell averages 6.4ppg and 5.5rpg.

   #2. Experienced Dru Joyce (6'1''-PG-85, graduated '07, plays in Germany) led Science City Jena to a victory against the ninth-ranked Braunschweig (4-11) 85-83 in the German BBL in Saturday night's game. Joyce scored 12 points and added 8 passes. Science City Jena (4-14) is placed 15th in the BBL. It was his team's first victory after twelve consecutive loses. Joyce has relatively good stats this year 10.1ppg, 2.9rpg and 6.1apg in 17 games he played so far.

   #3. Nate Linhart (6'7''-SF-86, graduated '09, currently in Germany), who plays in Germany could not help Telekom Baskets Bonn (6-8) to beat BK Opava (2-12) in the Basketball Champions League. He scored 5 points in 24 minutes. It was his first game for Telekom Baskets Bonn this season. The sixth-placed Telekom Baskets Bonn (6-8) was edged 73-71 on the road by the lower-ranked BK Opava (#8) in the group B of Basketball Champions League. The Regular Season already ended in the Basketball Champions League. Linhart is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.

   #4. Kwan Cheatham Jr. (6'10''-F-95, graduated '17, plays pro in Belgium) was not able to help one of league's weakest teams Kangoeroes Basket Mechelen in their game against Basic-Fit Brussels (11-3) in the Belgian Euromillions League. He recorded 9 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. But Kangoeroes Basket Mechelen was crushed 92-65 in Brussels by the second-ranked Basic-Fit. Cheatham Jr. has relatively good stats this year 14.5ppg, 6.3rpg and 1.5apg in 15 games.

   #5. Christopher McKnight (6'7''-PF-87, graduated '10, plays in France) contributed to an ADA Blois Basket 41's victory against the closely-ranked Saint Chamond (11-7) 91-79 in the French ProB (second division) in Friday night's game. McKnight scored 8 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 28 minutes. ADA Blois Basket 41 (9-8) is placed eighth in the ProB. This season McKnight averages 9.2ppg, 4.9rpg, 1.8apg and 1.2spg.

   #6. Romeo Travis (6'6''-PF-84, graduated '07, currently in Thailand) was the major contributor in a 3-point Mono Vampire's victory against the fourth-ranked Singapore Slingers 87-84 in the ASEAN League last Wednesday. Travis had a double-double by scoring 19 points and getting 13 rebounds. He also added 5 assists. Travis has relatively good stats this year 14.7ppg, 12.3rpg, 5.3apg and 1.7spg in three games. He is a naturalized FYR Macedonian.

   #7. Isaiah Johnson (6'10''-C-94, graduated '17, plays pro in Canada) contributed to a 1-point Sudbury Five's victory against the Kitchener-Waterloo Titans 116-115 in the NBL Canada on Thursday night. He recorded 9 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 15 minutes. Johnson has relatively good stats this season 14.7ppg, 12.3rpg, 5.3apg and 1.7spg.

   #8. Malcolm Duvivier (6'3''-G-95, graduated '18, plays in Canada) contributed to an easy victory against the Island Storm 101-83 in the NBL Canada in Saturday night's game. He recorded 5 points. Duvivier has relatively good stats this year 14.7ppg, 12.3rpg, 5.3apg and 1.7spg in three games.
