We bring you last week's top former Explorers players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Rodney Green (6'5''-G/F-88, graduated '10, plays pro in Venezuela) was the major contributor in Guaros' victory against the closely-ranked Capitanes (2-1) 84-81 in the Liga Americas on Friday night. He recorded 20 points in 23 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Guaros de Lara (3-0) is placed first in the Liga Americas. So far his team won all three games in the Regular Season. The Regular Season already ended in the Liga Americas. Green has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 18.5ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.5apg.

   #2. Steve Zack (6'11''-C-92, graduated '15, plays in Latvia) led his Latvian team VEF Riga to a victory against the eighth-ranked Kalev/Cramo (6-9) 85-75 in the VTB United League in Monday night's game. He scored 14 points, had 9 boards, passed 3 assists and added 3 steals. VEF Riga (4-13) is placed 12th in the VTB United League. There are only four games left until the end of the VTB United League Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Zack's first season with the team. Zack has relatively good stats this year 10.4ppg, 7.1rpg, 1.8apg and 1.2spg in 17 games he played so far.

   #3. Tyreek Duren (6'0''-PG-91, graduated '14, currently in Cyprus), who plays in Cyprus could not help AEK Larnaca (1-5) in their game last Wednesday. Despite Duren's very good performance the fourth-placed AEK Larnaca (1-5) was defeated 93-81 on the road by the leading Banco di Srd in the group K of FIBA Europe Cup. He was the top scorer with 17 points. Duren also added 3 passes in 26 minutes. The Second Stage already ended in the FIBA Europe Cup. This season Duren has very high stats. He averages 17.3ppg, 2.5rpg, 2.8apg and 1.5spg.

   #4. Jordan Price (6'5''-G-94, graduated '17, plays pro in Luxembourg) led Residence to a victory over the eighth-ranked Soleuvre (0-1) 109-90 in the Luxembourg Total League on Saturday night. He was MVP of the game. Price recorded 33 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 4 assists; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. Residence Walferdange (1-0) is placed fourth in Places 7-14 group. It was his team's first victory after nine consecutive loses. There are only four games left until the end of the Second Stage. So now every game is very crucial. It's Price's first year with the team. Price has very impressive stats this season 30.5ppg, 9.0rpg, 4.1apg and 1.3spg in eight games.

   #5. Tony Washington (6'10''-C/F, graduated '18, plays in Holland) was not able to help Basketball Academie Limburg in their game against Den Bosch (15-5) in the Dutch Eredivisie. Washington scored 8 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in 35 minutes. Basketball Academie Limburg was defeated 79-71 in Den Bosch by the higher-ranked Den Bosch (#3). Washington has relatively good stats this season 12.9ppg, 12.0rpg, 1.5apg and 1.1spg.

   #6. Jerrell Wright (6'9''-F-91, graduated '15, currently in France) contributed to an easy victory against the 11th-ranked CFBB 65-46 in the French NM1 (third division) last Saturday. Wright had a double-double by scoring 20 points and getting 12 rebounds. Wright has very impressive stats this year 15.3ppg, 8.5rpg and 1.9apg in 22 games.

   #7. B.J. Johnson (6'7''-G/F-95, graduated '18, plays pro in the NBA G League) was the main contributor in a Lakeland Magic's victory against the Capital City Go-Go crushing them 117-91 in the NBA G League on Saturday night. Johnson was MVP of the game. He scored 27 points (!!!) and grabbed 5 rebounds in 31 minutes. Johnson has relatively good stats this season 14.4ppg, 5.1rpg, 1.3apg and 1.4spg.
