Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top former Boilermakers players who continue their career in pro basketball.


   #1. Experienced Carl Landry (6'9''-F-83, graduated '07, plays pro in Japan) led Hiroshima Dragonflies to a victory over the third-ranked Cyberdyne IR (24-15) crushing them 93-71 in the Japanese B2 League in Saturday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Landry had a double-double by scoring 26 points and getting 13 rebounds. He also added 6 assists and 2 blocks (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) in 34 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group West. Hiroshima Dragonflies (26-13) are placed third. Landry has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 28.7ppg, 10.3rpg and 3.7apg in three games he played so far.

   #2. Chris Kramer (6'3''-G-88, graduated '10, plays in Lithuania) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Monaco (2-4) crushing them 90-68 in the Eurocup last Wednesday. He scored 8 points, had 5 boards, dished 8 assists and stole 4 balls. BC Rytas Vilnius (3-3) is placed second in group E. Kramer's team will play only one more game in the Eurocup Top 16. And that game will be critical. This season Kramer averages 6.7ppg, 2.7rpg, 5.0apg and 2.0spg.

   #3. Dakota Mathias (6'4''-G-95, graduated '18, currently in Spain) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Zaragoza (10-10) 88-73 in the Spanish Liga Endesa on Sunday night. Mathias scored 8 points in 17 minutes. Divina Seguros Juventut Badalona (11-8) is placed seventh in the Liga Endesa. It's Mathias' first season with the team. This year he averages 8.5ppg and 2.4rpg in 12 games.

   #4. Isaac Haas (7'2''-C-95, graduated '18, plays pro in the NBA G League) was the main contributor in a Salt Lake City Stars' victory against the Austin Spurs (16-20) 98-89 in the NBA G League in Sunday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Haas scored 21 points and grabbed 6 rebounds; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. The Salt Lake City Stars have 18-18 record this season. It's Haas' first year with the team. This year Haas averages 9.5ppg and 4.9rpg.

   #5. Keaton Grant (6'4''-SG-86, graduated '10, plays in Cyprus) could not help Apoel in their last game. Despite his good performance Apoel lost 67-75 on the road to the leading AEK Larnaca. Grant was the second best scorer with 13 points. He also added 5 boards, passed 4 assists and added 4 steals. Grant has very impressive stats this year 15.7ppg, 4.9rpg, 3.4apg and 2.5spg in 14 games.

   #6. JaJuan Johnson (6'9''-F/C-89, graduated '11, currently in Russia) managed to help Lokomotiv Kuban to win against the fourth-ranked Deutsche Bank Skyliners crushing them 84-58 in the Eurocup on Wednesday night. Johnson scored only 4 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. This season Johnson averages 8.9ppg and 4.9rpg.

   #7. E'Twaun Moore (6'4''-G-89, graduated '11, plays pro in the NBA) was not able to help the New Orleans Pelicans in their game against the Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA. Moore recorded 5 points in 16 minutes. His team lost 90-99 in the NBA. Moore has very impressive stats this year 12.1ppg, 2.5rpg and 2.0apg in 45 games.

   #8. Nemanja Calasan (6'9''-C-85, graduated '09, plays in Switzerland) contributed to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams Pully 83-66 in the Swiss SBL last Sunday. He was MVP of the game. Calasan recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 11 rebounds. He also added 4 assists. Calasan has relatively good stats this season 13.8ppg, 6.7rpg and 1.6apg. He has also Montenegrin citizenship.

   #9. Jonathan Octeus (6'4''-G-91, graduated '15, currently in the NBA G League) contributed to an easy victory against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants 116-98 in the NBA G League on Friday night. Octeus recorded 6 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 18 minutes. This year Octeus averages 5.1ppg, 3.9rpg and 2.0apg in 27 games.

   #10. Gary Ware (6'9''-C/F-83, graduated '06, plays pro in Austria) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Raiders crushing them 87-60 in the Austrian 2.Bundesliga (second division) in Saturday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Ware recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and getting 14 rebounds. This season Ware has very high stats. He averages 21.4ppg, 10.5rpg and 2.1apg.
