Top University of Missouri alumni playing currently pro basketball

We bring you last week's top former Tigers players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Phil Pressey (5'11''-PG-91, graduated '13, plays pro in Turkey) led Besiktas to a victory over the closely-ranked Turk Telekom (10-7) 85-67 in the Turkish BSL in Saturday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Pressey scored 22 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 6 assists in 33 minutes. Besiktas Sompo Japan Istanbul (8-11) is placed sixth in the BSL. It's Pressey's first season with the team. This year he averages 8.1ppg, 2.7rpg, 4.0apg and 1.7spg in 14 games he played so far.

   #2. Jordan Clarkson (6'5''-G-92, graduated '14, plays in the NBA) could not help the Cleveland Cavaliers (11-45) in their last game on Friday. Despite his very good performance the Cleveland Cavaliers (11-45) were defeated 119-106 on the road by the Washington Wizards. Clarkson was the second best scorer with 24 points. He also added 6 rebounds and dished 3 assists. It's Clarkson's first season with the team. Clarkson has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 16.8ppg, 3.3rpg and 2.4apg. Clarkson is a naturalized Filipino.

   #3. Experienced DeMarre Carroll (6'8''-F-86, graduated '09, currently in the NBA) was the major contributor in a Brooklyn Nets' victory against the Denver Nuggets (37-18) 135-130 in the NBA on Wednesday night. Carroll had a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 6 assists and 4 steals in 28 minutes. The Brooklyn Nets have 29-28 record this season. Carroll has very impressive stats this year 11.1ppg, 5.1rpg and 1.4apg in 45 games.

   #4. Rickey Paulding (6'5''-F/G-82, graduated '04, plays pro in Germany) contributed to a EWE Baskets Oldenburg's victory against the 16th-ranked Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (3-16) 88-83 in the German BBL in Sunday night's game. He scored 16 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. EWE Baskets Oldenburg (15-4) is placed second in the BBL. It's Paulding's 12th season with the team. Paulding has relatively good stats this year 13.1ppg, 3.8rpg and 1.9apg.

   #5. Tony Criswell (6'9''-PF-91, graduated '14, plays in Mexico) was the main contributor in a Panteras de Aguascalientes' victory against the seventh-ranked Angeles (12-23) 91-72 in the Mexican LNBP (second division) last Tuesday. Criswell was MVP of the game. He recorded 23 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 32 minutes. Panteras de Aguascalientesis placed fourth in South group. Criswell has very impressive stats this year 22.4ppg and 5.7rpg in seven games.

   #6. Ricardo Ratliffe (6'8''-F-89, graduated '12, currently in South Korea) helped Mobis Phoebus win their game against the eighth-ranked Anyang KGC 85-78 in the South Korean KBL on Saturday night. Ratliffe was MVP of the game. He scored 29 points (!!!), grabbed 9 rebounds and made 2 blocks. This season Ratliffe has very high stats. He averages 24.3ppg, 14.4rpg, 2.9apg and 1.7bpg. Ratliffe is a naturalized South Korean.

   #7. Kassius Robertson (6'3''-G-94, graduated '18, plays pro in Germany) was not able to help medi Bayreuth in their game against SC Rasta Vechta in the German BBL. Robertson scored 9 points and added 8 passes in 36 minutes. His team lost 81-86. Robertson has relatively good stats this year 10.9ppg, 2.0rpg and 2.4apg in 17 games.

   #8. Leo Lyons (6'9''-F-87, graduated '09, plays in Japan) helped Toyama Grouses win their game against the fourth-ranked Osaka Evessa crushing them 100-72 in the Japanese B League last Sunday. He was MVP of the game. Lyons recorded 28 points (!!!), 4 rebounds and 4 assists. This season Lyons has very high stats. He averages 23.1ppg, 9.4rpg, 3.0apg and 1.2spg.

   #9. Russell Woods (6'8''-PF-94, graduated '17, currently in Iceland) helped Haukar win their game against the league leader KR 83-74 in the Icelandic Dominos League on Thursday night. He was MVP of the game. Woods scored 27 points (!!!) and grabbed 7 rebounds in 36 minutes. Woods has very impressive stats this year 23.0ppg, 10.9rpg and 1.7apg in seven games.

   #10. Zaire Taylor (6'4''-G-86, graduated '10, plays pro in United Kingdom) was not able to secure a victory for Worthing Thunder (13-4) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Taylor's very good performance Worthing Thunder was defeated 114-109 in Hemel by the much lower-ranked Storm (#11). He recorded a triple-double by scoring 33 points, grabbing 11 rebounds and passing 10 assists. This season Taylor has very high stats. He averages 20.1ppg, 8.2rpg, 4.3apg and 3.6spg.
