Top Louisiana State University alumni playing currently pro basketball

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Fighting Tigers alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Anthony Randolph (6'11''-PF-89, graduated '08, plays pro in Spain) could not help Real Madrid (17-5) in their game last Friday. Despite his very good performance Real Madrid was defeated 82-78 on the road by the lower-ranked CSKA (#3). Randolph was the top scorer with 20 points in 30 minutes. Randolph has relatively good stats this season 13.4ppg and 4.6rpg. He is a naturalized Slovenian.

   #2. Experienced Jaime Lloreda (6'9''-C-80, graduated '04, plays in Uruguay) was not able to help Hebraica (1-8) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Hebraica lost 87-98 in a derby game to the lower-ranked (#3) Aguada. Lloreda had a double-double by scoring 27 points and getting 17 rebounds. His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Lloreda has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 20.4ppg, 10.8rpg and 1.6apg in nine games he played so far.

   #3. Jordan Mickey (6'8''-F-94, graduated '15, currently in Russia) led his Russian team Khimki to a victory over one of league's weakest teams Buducnost (6-16) 98-90 in the Euroleague last Thursday. Mickey was MVP of the game. He recorded 25 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in a mere 19 minutes. BC Khimki Moscow Region (9-13) is placed 11th in the Euroleague. Mickey has relatively good stats this season 14.4ppg and 5.2rpg.

   #4. Ben Simmons (6'10''-F-96, graduated '16, plays pro in the NBA) was not able to secure a victory for the Philadelphia 76ers (36-20) in their last game. Despite Simmons' very good performance the Philadelphia 76ers (36-20) lost 107-119 in Toronto to the Raptors. He was the second best scorer with 20 points. Simmons also added 7 boards, passed 6 assists and added 3 steals; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. Simmons has very impressive stats this year 16.9ppg, 9.3rpg, 8.0apg and 1.3spg in 54 games.

   #5. Joshia Gray (6'1''-PG-93, graduated '16, plays in South Korea) couldn't help LG Sakers (22-20) in their game last Monday. Despite his very good performance LG Sakers were edged 89-88 at home by the leading Mobis Phoebus. Gray was the top scorer with 32 points. He also added 5 rebounds and 4 assists in 23 minutes. It's Gray's first season with the team. This year Gray has very high stats. He averages 17.5ppg, 4.4rpg, 4.0apg and 1.7spg.

   #6. Shavon Coleman (6'5''-F-92, graduated '14, currently in Holland), who plays in the Dutch Eredivisie couldn't help Dutch Windmills Dordrecht (11-10) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Dutch Windmills Dordrecht lost 75-83 in Den Helder to the lower-ranked (#6) Den Helder. Coleman had a double-double by scoring 25 points and getting 13 rebounds. He also added and 4 steals. Coleman has very impressive stats this year 16.8ppg, 9.2rpg, 2.5apg and 2.3spg in 20 games.

   #7. Johnny O'Bryant III (6'9''-C/F-93, graduated '14, plays pro in Israel) contributed to a 1-point Maccabi T-A's victory against the sixth-ranked Olympiacos 65-64 in the Euroleague on Thursday night. O'Bryant III recorded 7 points, 8 rebounds and 2 blocks in 26 minutes. He has relatively good stats this season 11.0ppg, 5.5rpg and 1.5apg.

   #8. Duop Reath (6'11''-F-96, graduated '18, plays in Serbia) couldn't help FMP (8-11) in their last game. Despite his very good performance FMP was edged 87-85 in Zagreb by the second-ranked Cedevita. Reath was the second best scorer with 19 points. He also added 7 rebounds and 2 blocks. This year Reath averages 8.2ppg, 5.3rpg and 1.6bpg in 17 games. He has also South Sudanese passport.

   #9. Antonio Blakeney (6'4''-G-96, graduated '17, currently in the NBA G League) was the major contributor in a Windy City Bulls' victory against the Capital City Go-Go 121-109 in the NBA G League last Tuesday. Blakeney recorded 23 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in 35 minutes. This season he has very high stats. Blakeney averages 19.0ppg, 9.0rpg and 3.5apg.

   #10. Storm Warren (6'7''-PF-88, graduated '12, plays pro in Uruguay) was the main contributor in Bigua's victory against the closely-ranked Atenas crushing them 97-71 in a derby game in the Uruguayan LUB on Friday night. He was MVP of the game. Warren scored 16 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 4 assists. He has very impressive stats this year 15.5ppg, 6.5rpg and 1.2apg in six games.
