Top Davidson College alumni playing currently pro basketball

We bring you last week's top former Wildcats players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Stephen Curry (6'3''-PG-88, graduated '09, plays pro in the NBA) led Golden State Warriors to a 2-point victory against the Miami Heat (25-29) 120-118 in the NBA in Sunday night's game. He scored 25 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 36 minutes. The Golden State Warriors have a solid 40-15 record this season. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. It's Curry's tenth year with the team. Curry has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 28.7ppg, 5.1rpg, 5.4apg and 1.2spg in 43 games he played so far.

   #2. De'Mon Brooks (6'8''-F-92, graduated '14, plays in Germany) could not help medi Bayreuth (9-9) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Brooks' good performance medi Bayreuth was defeated 86-81 on the road by the much higher-ranked SC Rasta Vechta (#3). He was the second best scorer with 14 points. Brooks also added 4 rebounds and dished 3 assists. Brooks has relatively good stats this season 13.4ppg, 5.2rpg and 1.6apg.

   #3. Peyton Aldridge (6'8''-F-95, graduated '18, currently in Italy) led Vanoli Basket Cremona to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked Virtus Bologna (10-9) 87-70 in the Italian Serie A on Saturday night. Aldridge recorded 13 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 30 minutes. Vanoli Basket Cremona (12-7) is placed third in the Serie A. Aldridge has relatively good stats this year 12.4ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.2apg in 18 games.

   #4. Jack Gibbs (6'0''-G-95, graduated '17, plays pro in Finland) led Vilpas to a victory against the eighth-ranked Helsinki Seagulls (10-16) 89-83 in the Finnish Korisliiga in Sunday night's game. Gibbs recorded 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. Salon Vilpas Vikings (23-4) is placed first in the Korisliiga. Gibbs has relatively good stats this season 10.4ppg, 2.4rpg, 2.2apg and 1.2spg.

   #5. Jake Cohen (6'10''-F/C-90, graduated '13, plays in Israel) was not able to help Maccabi T-A in their game against Hapoel Holon (11-6) in the Israeli Winner League. Cohen scored 7 points and added 3 assists in only 13 minutes. Maccabi T-A lost 95-100 in Holon to the lower-ranked (#4) Hapoel. This year Cohen averages 7.9ppg, 4.1rpg and 1.9apg in 16 games. He is a naturalized Israeli.

   #6. Tyler Kalinoski (6'4''-G-92, graduated '15, currently in Belgium) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Okapi Aalstar crushing them 104-74 in the Belgian Euromillions League on Saturday night. He recorded 9 points. This season Kalinoski averages 8.1ppg, 2.7rpg and 2.1apg.
