Here is the weekly review of the top performing Longhorns alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. J'Covan Brown (6'2''-PG-90, graduated '12, plays pro in Israel) led Hapoel Jerusalem to a victory over the closely-ranked Maccabi Ashdod (12-5) 104-94 in the Israeli Winner League in Saturday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Brown scored 25 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 6 assists in 30 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Hapoel Jerusalem (12-5) is placed third in the Winner League. Brown has relatively good stats this year 10.4ppg, 2.3rpg and 4.0apg in 14 games he played so far.

   #2. Experienced LaMarcus Aldridge (6'11''-F/C-85, graduated '06, plays in the NBA) was the main contributor in a San Antonio Spurs' victory against the New Orleans Pelicans (25-32) 113-108 in the NBA last Saturday. Aldridge was MVP of the game. He recorded a double-double by scoring 25 points and getting 14 rebounds. The San Antonio Spurs have 32-26 record this season. It's Aldridge's fourth year with the team. Aldridge has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 21.0ppg, 9.0rpg, 2.6apg and 1.2bpg.

   #3. Kevin Durant (6'9''-SF-88, graduated '07, currently in the NBA) was the major contributor in a Golden State Warriors' victory against the San Antonio Spurs (32-26) crushing them 141-102 in the NBA on Wednesday night. Durant recorded 23 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists and 3 steals in 29 minutes. The Golden State Warriors have a solid 39-15 record this season. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Durant has very impressive stats this year 27.3ppg, 7.1rpg, 6.0apg and 1.1bpg in 54 games.

   #4. Dexter Pittman (6'10''-C-88, graduated '10, plays pro in Japan) contributed to a Fukuoka Rizing's victory against the sixth-ranked Yokohama BC (11-29) 80-74 in the Japanese B League in Sunday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Pittman recorded 33 points (!!!) and grabbed 7 rebounds. Fukuoka Rizing (10-30) is placed fifth in West group. It was his team's first victory after six consecutive loses. It's Pittman's first season with the team. This year he has very high stats. Pittman averages 19.1ppg, 8.7rpg and 2.0apg.

   #5. Myles Turner (6'11''-C/F-96, graduated '15, plays in the NBA) helped Indiana Pacers win their game against the Los Angeles Clippers (31-26) crushing them 116-92 in the NBA last Thursday. Turner scored 17 points, made 3 passes and 4 steals in 27 minutes. The Indiana Pacers have a solid 37-19 record this season. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. It's Turner's fourth year with the team. He has very impressive stats this season 13.5ppg, 7.0rpg, 1.6apg and 2.7bpg in 51 games.

   #6. Jordan Hamilton (6'7''-F-90, graduated '11, currently in Italy), who plays in the Italian Serie A could not help Germani BR (8-11) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Hamilton's very good performance Germani BR was defeated 79-67 on the road by the much higher-ranked Sidigas AV (#5). He recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and getting 12 rebounds. Hamilton has relatively good stats this season 12.8ppg, 6.3rpg and 2.4apg.

   #7. Cory Joseph (6'3''-PG-91, graduated '11, plays pro in the NBA) is a teammate of previously mentioned Myles Turner and both played together in the last NBA game. Joseph helped Indiana Pacers win their game against the Los Angeles Clippers crushing them 116-92. He scored 13 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and dished 6 assists in 32 minutes. Joseph has relatively good stats this year 7.3ppg, 3.8rpg, 4.1apg and 1.1spg in 56 games.

   #8. Jarrett Allen (6'11''-F-98, graduated '17, plays in the NBA) helped Brooklyn Nets win their game against the Denver Nuggets 135-130 in the NBA last Wednesday. He recorded 15 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. This season Allen has very high stats. He averages 11.2ppg, 8.7rpg, 1.5apg and 1.5bpg.

   #9. D.J. Augustin (6'0''-PG-87, graduated '08, currently in the NBA) helped Orlando Magic win their game against the Brooklyn Nets 102-89 in the NBA on Saturday night. Augustin scored 12 points and added 8 passes in 29 minutes. He has very impressive stats this year 11.5ppg, 2.1rpg and 4.7apg in 55 games.

   #10. Ioannis Papapetrou (6'8''-F-94, graduated '14, plays pro in Greece) was not able to help Panathinaikos in their game against Fenerbahce in the Euroleague. Papapetrou recorded 5 points and blocked 3 shots. His team was badly defeated by 19 points 85-66. This season he averages 8.4ppg and 3.8rpg.
