Best performed former North Carolina Central players in pro basketball in last week games

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Eagles alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Jordan Parks (6'7''-F-94, graduated '15, plays pro in Italy) led Benfapp CdO to a victory over the 15th-ranked FCL Contract LG (4-16) 88-79 in the Italian Serie A2 (second division) last Sunday. He was MVP of the game. Parks scored 29 points (!!!) and grabbed 7 rebounds in 36 minutes. Benfapp Capo d'Orlando (12-8) is placed fifth in West group. It's Parks' first season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Parks averages 22.1ppg, 7.6rpg, 2.0apg and 1.3spg in 20 games he played so far.

   #2. Experienced Dominique Sutton (6'6''-G/F-86, graduated '12, plays in Spain) was the main contributor in a San Pablo Inmobiliaria Miraflores Burgos' victory against the league outsider Gipuzkoa (3-16) crushing them 96-73 in the Spanish Liga Endesa on Sunday night. Sutton was MVP of the game. He recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and getting 11 rebounds. It was his first game for San Pablo Inmobiliaria Miraflores Burgos this season. His team is placed 12th in the Liga Endesa. It was San Pablo Inmobiliaria Miraflores Burgos' first victory after four consecutive loses.

   #3. Nimrod Hilliard IV (6'0''-PG-93, graduated '15, currently in Sweden) contributed to a Boras Basket's victory against the eighth-ranked Umea (9-20) 91-84 in the Swedish Basketligan in Monday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Hilliard IV scored 23 points and added 5 assists in 37 minutes. Boras Basket (20-8) is placed fourth in the Basketligan. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. Hilliard IV has very impressive stats this year 19.8ppg, 3.0rpg, 6.6apg and 1.6spg in 28 games.

   #4. Karamo Jawara (6'8''-F-91, graduated '15, plays pro in Cyprus) helped Etha win their game against the league outsider Omonia (4-12) 81-67 in a derby game in the Cypriot Division A last Sunday. Jawara recorded a triple-double by scoring 16 points, grabbing 15 rebounds and passing 11 assists. Michelin Etha Engomis Nicosia (6-10) is placed fifth in the Division A. Jawara has relatively good stats this season 11.3ppg, 8.8rpg and 3.5apg.

   #5. Jeremiah Ingram (6'7''-PF-93, graduated '16, plays in Denmark) could not help Svendborg (12-6) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the third-placed Svendborg (12-6) was edged 72-69 at home by the lower-ranked (#5) Randers in the ProA group. Ingram was the top scorer with 15 points. He also added 8 rebounds and 2 blocks in 29 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Ingram's third season in pro basketball. It was Svendborg's first loss after three consecutive victories. Ingram has very impressive stats this year 15.5ppg, 5.6rpg and 1.8apg in 16 games.

   #6. Del'Vin Dickerson (6'6''-F-93, graduated '18, currently in Argentina) helped Gimnasia LP win their game against the fifth-ranked Parque Sur 97-89 in the Argentinian La Liga Argentina (second division) in Monday night's game. Dickerson was MVP of the game. He scored 29 points (!!!) and grabbed 4 rebounds. This season Dickerson has very high stats. He averages 15.7ppg and 6.5rpg.

   #7. Dajuan Graf (6'1''-PG-92, graduated '17, plays pro in Germany) helped VfL Kirchheim Knights win their game against the league outsider Baunach crushing them 77-53 in the German ProA (second division) last Saturday. He scored 13 points, had 6 rebounds and dished 8 assists in 34 minutes. Graf has relatively good stats this year 12.7ppg, 4.9rpg, 5.3apg and 1.1spg in 21 games.

   #8. Shawn Ray (6'5''-G/F-80, graduated '03, plays in Austria) helped Arkadia Traiskirchen Lions edge the closely-ranked Dukes 88-87 in the Austrian A Bundesliga on Thursday night. Ray was MVP of the game. He scored 26 points (!!!) and grabbed 8 rebounds. This season Ray has very high stats. He averages 20.1ppg, 6.9rpg, 2.4apg and 2.0spg.

   #9. Ebuka Anyaorah (6'4''-G/F-90, graduated '14, currently in France), who plays in the French NM1 (third division) was not able to help Recy Saint-Martin (7-15) in their last game. Despite Anyaorah's very good performance the 11th-placed Recy Saint-Martin lost 78-88 on the road to the higher-ranked (#5) Saint Vallier in the Group A. He was the top scorer with 19 points. Anyaorah also added 3 passes in 30 minutes. Anyaorah has relatively good stats this year 12.3ppg, 2.9rpg and 2.4apg in 21 games. He is a naturalized Nigerian. He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.
