We bring you last week's top former Lions players who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Brandon Brown (5'11''-PG-91, graduated '17, plays pro in Switzerland) led Neuchatel to a 2-point victory over the league leader Lugano Tigers (2-0) 97-95 in the Swiss SBL in Saturday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Brown scored 26 points (!!!) and added 6 assists (was perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line) in 31 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Union Neuchatel Basket (11-5) is placed third in the SBL. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Brown has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 25.3ppg, 2.7rpg and 3.0apg in three games he played so far.

#2. Anthony Ireland (5'9''-PG-91, graduated '14, plays in Russia) led his Russian team Avtodor to a 1-point victory against the third-ranked Bakken (3-3) 125-124 in the FIBA Europe Cup last Wednesday. He scored 15 points and added 4 passes (went 6 for 6 at the free throw line). Avtodor Saratov (5-1) is placed first in group L. The Second Stage already ended in the FIBA Europe Cup. It's Ireland's first season with the team. This year Ireland averages 7.8ppg, 2.8rpg and 4.4apg.

#3. Kelvin Amayo (6'4''-G-92, graduated '17, currently in Georgia), who plays in the Georgian A League (second division) could not help one of league's weakest teams Abkhazeti (0-2) in their last game. Despite Amayo's very good performance Abkhazeti was badly defeated 79-61 in a derby game by the higher-ranked (#4) Arena-Orbi. He was the top scorer with 19 points. Amayo also added 7 boards, dished 3 assists and stole 5 balls in 34 minutes; not bad, considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Amayo's first year with the team. Amayo has very impressive stats this season 22.0ppg, 6.5rpg, 5.0apg and 3.5spg in two games.

#4. Experienced Damian Martin (6'1''-G-84, graduated '07, plays pro in Australia) managed to help Perth Wildcats to win against the sixth-ranked Illawarra Hawks (12-13) 104-90 in the Australian NBL in Friday night's game. He recorded 5 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Perth Wildcats (16-9) are placed second in the NBL. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. It's Martin's tenth season with the team. This year Martin averages 5.0ppg, 3.5rpg, 3.8apg and 1.6spg.

#5. Steven Haney (6'6''-G/F-95, graduated '18, plays in Kosovo) was not able to help Bashkimi (1-9) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the bottom-ranked Bashkimi was badly defeated 90-74 on the road by the higher-ranked (#5) Kozuv. Haney was the top scorer with 24 points. He also added 6 rebounds in 36 minutes. It was Bashkimi's fifth consecutive loss in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Balkan League Regular Season. So now every game will be important. Haney has very impressive stats this year 17.4ppg, 5.0rpg and 3.1apg in seven games.

#6. Simon Krajcovic (6'3''-PG-94, graduated '15, currently in Slovakia) contributed to an easy victory against the leader KK Vrijednosnice Osijek crushing them 103-62 in the Alpe Adria Cup on Wednesday night. Krajcovic recorded 5 points and added 6 assists. This season Krajcovic averages 5.7ppg, 2.8rpg, 5.0apg and 1.3spg.

#7. Marko Deric (6'9''-F-87, graduated '09, plays pro in Serbia) was not able to secure a victory for Dynamic VP in their game against Spars Sarajevo in the KLS. He cannot count it as his best performance. Deric scored only one point in 17 minutes. His team lost 84-88. This year Deric averages 5.7ppg, 2.8rpg, 5.0apg and 1.3spg in six games. He has also Serbian passport.

#8. Sherman Gay (6'7''-F/C-82, graduated '04, plays in Germany) couldn't help HAKRO Merlins Crailsheim in their game against Deutsche Bank Skyliners in the German BBL. Gay cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones. He recorded only one point. His team was defeated 77-69. This season Gay averages 8.2ppg and 2.8rpg. He is a naturalized Jamaican.
