Top Florida State University alumni playing currently pro basketball

Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top former Seminoles players who continue their career in pro basketball.


   #1. Michael Ojo (7'1''-C-93, graduated '17, plays pro in Serbia) was the major contributor in a Crvena Zvezda's victory against the seventh-ranked Cibona (5-7) crushing them 76-54 in the ABA League on Saturday night. Ojo recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and getting 10 rebounds in 22 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. Crvena Zvezda MTS Beograd (12-0) is placed first in the ABA League. So far his team won all twelve games in the Regular Season. This season Ojo averages 7.8ppg and 6.5rpg. He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.

   #2. Jason Rich (6'3''-G-86, played in 2004-08, plays in Turkey) led his Turkish team Besiktas to a victory over the closely-ranked Neptunas (4-5) 77-70 in the Basketball Champions League in Tuesday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Rich scored 22 points and added 4 assists. Besiktas Sompo Japan Istanbul (4-5) is placed fifth in the Basketball Champions League. It's Rich's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 13.4ppg, 1.3rpg and 3.3apg in seven games he played so far.

   #3. Xavier Rathan-Mayes (6'4''-G-94, graduated '17, currently in Greece), who plays in the Greek A1 could not help AEK (7-3) in their game last Sunday. Despite his good performance AEK was crushed 111-79 in a derby game by the leading Panathinaikos. Rathan-Mayes was the top scorer with 12 points in 24 minutes. Rathan-Mayes has relatively good stats this season 10.4ppg, 2.4rpg and 2.7apg.

   #4. Deividas Dulkys (6'5''-SG-88, graduated '12, plays pro in Poland) contributed to an Asseco Arka Gdynia's victory against the closely-ranked BM Slam Stal (8-3) 86-73 in the Polish EBL on Sunday night. He recorded 16 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Asseco Arka Gdynia (9-2) is placed second in the EBL. This year Dulkys averages 9.3ppg, 4.5rpg, 2.8apg and 1.2spg in 11 games.

   #5. Chris Singleton (6'9''-PF-89, graduated '11, plays in Spain) was not able to help FC Barcelona Lassa in their game against Unicaja Malaga (9-4) in the Spanish Liga Endesa. He scored 9 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 32 minutes. But the league leader FC Barcelona Lassa was defeated 78-73 on the road by the lower-ranked Unicaja Malaga (#4). Singleton has relatively good stats this season 10.6ppg, 4.4rpg and 1.4spg.

   #6. Toney Douglas (6'2''-PG-86, graduated '09, currently in Turkey) was the main contributor in Darussafaka's victory against one of league's weakest teams Banvit 82-65 in the Turkish BSL last Sunday. Douglas was MVP of the game. He scored 19 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Douglas has relatively good stats this year 15.0ppg, 3.5rpg and 3.5apg in two games.

   #7. Xavier Gibson (6'11''-F/C-88, graduated '12, plays pro in Japan) was not able to secure a victory for Osaka Evessa in their game against Yokohama BC in the Japanese B League. Despite his very good performance last Sunday Gibson recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 3 blocks and 3 steals in 35 minutes. Gibson has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 15.6ppg, 7.4rpg, 2.1apg, 1.4bpg and 1.5spg.

   #8. Ian Miller (6'3''-G-91, graduated '14, plays in Israel) couldn't help Hapoel Galil Gilboa in their game against Hapoel Eilat in the Israeli Winner League, despite his very good performance on Monday night. He recorded 13 points and added 4 passes. But his team was badly defeated by 18 points 88-70. Miller has very impressive stats this year 15.6ppg, 2.9rpg, 3.5apg and 1.4spg in 10 games.

   #9. Malik Beasley (6'5''-G-96, graduated '16, currently in the NBA) couldn't help the Denver Nuggets in their game against the Los Angeles Clippers in the NBA. Despite his good performance in Saturday night's game Beasley recorded 11 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 28 minutes. Beasley has relatively good stats this season 8.1ppg and 2.4rpg.

   #10. Jonathan Isaac (6'10''-F-97, graduated '17, plays pro in the NBA) couldn't help the Orlando Magic in their game against the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA, despite his good performance last Wednesday. He recorded 10 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. But his team was crushed by 39 points 129-90 in the NBA. Isaac has relatively good stats this year 8.0ppg, 5.0rpg and 1.2bpg in 25 games.
